Summer handbags

Start by saying I have an expensive bag habit! I have a nice collection but I realised the other day I have mostly dark winter colours - oxblood, navy blue, rust, tan. I know the tan will probably work in the summer but I'd like some lighter coloured bags.

What colour bags do you use in the summer? Any nice suggestions please?

I've had an email to say "it's on its way" and the money has left my account so 🤞!
I'd wanted one in March but out of stock so surprised so many available 10 weeks later.

Ohhh yes please! I checked and it was you who bagged that dress on the Titz thread! Beautiful dress. I’ve got my eye on the top from that range but I really don’t have the money right now so it’ll just have to be admired from afar. 😭

Doesn’t matter if you don’t have anywhere to wear it to - it’s such a pretty dress and you’ll be able to use it someday...

Here’s my little Anya Hindmarch bag that I bought preloved recently - I just wanted something very small and discreet to wear in the summer rather than my more obvious Mulberry bags. It’s lovely soft leather in a caramel colour and will go nicely with my summer nails.

@Ninkanink I am a fan of Anya H. Not as popular a brand but some nice and sometimes quirky bags. This is a great choice.

I’ve got an old school Belvedere tote, the second expensive (for me) bag I ever bought, which I love - it’s so beautifully made and still looks good as new. Very easy to wear and I like to think it makes me look elegant and put together whilst still being subtle. I don’t wear it much because I don’t often use a big bag anymore, but I don’t think I’ll ever part with it. I’d love a couple more. Someday!

Oh no! I've just rung them as mine was supposed to have been dispatched last week and seeing your post worried me however apparently it's being collected by Dpd this afternoon so fingers crossed.

My cream one arrived and it’s going straight back unfortunately. It’s HUGE! I’m only 5’3”, I didn’t even try it on, I knew it wouldn’t look right on me

Still like the idea of cream though. I’ve been looking at John Lewis, think I need something a bit cheaper than designer on this occasion.

@MissFritton65 mine also said DPD were waiting for it then I got the email saying no longer available. @bendmeoverbackwards that makes me feel a bit better, I'm just under 5'3" so maybe it would have looked too big 🤔
