Opinions on this dress please

It's for a spring wedding. I'm slim but 5'2 so it'll be below the knee on me. I've just turned 40. I haven't been to a wedding in over a decade so struggling to find a style. Honest opinions. It hasn't arrived yet so I can't post of picture of it on (which would have been helpful!).

I’m too booby for a high neck like that, so not for me, but it’s a lovely dress for a wedding.

I'm not very booby-B cup.

It’s lovely but I couldn’t wear that as would feel way too hot in it and get a red face!

That's lovely for the long-necked small-boobied. My only caveat would be how 'white' it looks in real life as I think wearing white at a wedding really isn't on. But it may be totally oK when you see it.

It's not white, looks a definite grey in other pics. Thanks for the replies, not a total no then. When it arrives I'll update with some pictures of me wearing it.

It's lovely but I predict it will date really quickly so if you're close enough to the couple to be on their wedding photos around the house I probably wouldn't (it's the neckline - without it, it's classic)

I probably wouldn't wear it to a wedding due to the colouring ( I don't give a shiny about that stuff personally but I still wouldn't do it myself).

It looks nice enough on the model, her being tall etc but I can't see it looking great on anyone else. The top half looks quite stifling and severe and the very tight fit seems it would be unflattering generally and show off all underwear underneath, any slight (normal) body fat etc. The frill won't date well and the peplum won't sit in the same place if you're shorter than the model.

It isn't that it's an ugly dress at all, just that I think it's an awkward one with a lot of fuss that will only work if it sits perfect on the body or were tailored. I'd go for something simpler that can be reused.

It’s a lovely dress. A definite grey, not-white, and I don’t think it’ll age badly as the detail isn’t ‘of the moment’, it’s just a detail. Nice find!

Agree with everything @dontgobaconmyheart said.

Also think it will look really frumpy on a petite frame (high neck + ruffles + below knee pencil skirt), unless you can buy it properly resized for petite.
