I thought just the same but couldn't make up my mind!

Has anyone else noticed that Princess Leonora has started wearing little heels? I think the first time I noticed them was in the photos of her Confirmation.

I see Her Maj is wearing one of her favourite brooches there, in the shape of an oriental palm leaf.

The Queen Mother was a terror for breaking up pieces of jewellery she considered old fashioned, so that she could reuse the stones.
Cartier made this brooch for her from loose stones, not long after her husband became King.

She wore it frequently throughout her life, it's shown on the famous photograph of her waiting on the station platform for the arrival of her husband's coffin.
So it's nice to see it still being worn and giving pleasure.

Good spot, @AdaColeman. HM must have one of the best brooch collections in the world. I like the way that she selects them for the symbolic meaning as well.

Last time I saw sleeves like the ones on Kate's dress yesterday was in 1987 on the bridesmaid dress I had for my brother's wedding. I like the colour on her but the sleeves and neckline were wrong for her.

I thought the Queen looked fabulous in her mint green at Ascot.

I always think Beatrice looks like a modern day daughter of Grace Kelly.

@CliffsofMohair I think she also resembles Paola, the former queen of the Belgians, who was a great beauty in her youth. Both are Italian aristocrats but they aren't related, as far as I know.

Prince William's 39th Birthday today & Clarence House havevreleased a photo of William at 6 months old sat on Charles' knee.
