I feel that Anne's thinking on the hat was... Cream/beige for hat, gloves, shoes and bag must all go together, add pearls for finishing touch.

Maybe a sea green silk rose in the hat would have tied it together a bit more?

I wondered if APB would be there, he must be good company, and perhaps Tim isn't into horses!

Ascot Day 3:

I quite like this outfit on Sophie. It's a beautiful colour green, and that full skirt is lovely.

I'm afraid I'm not keen on Zara's outfit here at all.

Princess Anne's yellow ensemble is pretty and stylish on her.

I quite like what Sophie is wearing. Zara's dress looks uncomfortably snug and oh my, that colour on Anne 😎

Wowsers! Anne looks bright! A leaf out of Mama's fashion book. I'm not keen on Zara's look today. Sophie likes a full skirt.

Tim's a Vice Admiral, they are the epitome of dapper!

Tim & Anne were at a Fortnum & Mason bash earlier in the week, and left clutching goodie bags, so at least we know he got something nice for supper once this week!

APB is Zara's godfather IIRC, so strong family links.

I’m disturbed by how much the top of Sophies’s dress looks like a nurses uniform. You don’t notice it so much in the full length photos, but in other shots it is much more obvious.

No, not keen on Zara's dress or Anne's outfit this time.
With that candid profile shot of Sophie, I think she looks quite elegantly beautiful.

Yes! Anne's pinned yellow feathers to her cream hat today, and how sweet APB is wearing a matching yellow tie. Perhaps yellow is her racing colour?

Zara looks great in casual clothes but always looks a bit uncomfortable and trussed up on more formal occasions.

Yes 'trussed up' is exactly right.

I like Anne's yellow coat and hat; it's nicer than the green outfit with the big white hat imo. I like the white hat but the shiny fabric of the dress looks like late 70s hotel curtains.

Not keen on Sophie's button front, though the colour is nice. A plain dress with a demure collar would have been nicer. The purple and white outfit looks great.

Agree re Zara.

Camilla has looked great in all these pictures.

Sophie is elegant, beautiful and also always looks wholeheartedly like someone’s lovely mum all at the same time!

Nice to see Ascot fashion. 🙂 Some good, some bad! I did not like Zara's dress today, nor Sophie's. I don't like the full skirt, makes her look matronly, imo

I too noticed APB's tie matching Anne's dress. 🙂

I really liked the soft pale green Camilla wore today, such a delicate shade, it looked a pretty neckline too, (not seen a full length photo yet), and Camilla always gives good hat! Wink

I think my favourite was Anne's indigo sheath dress and jacket on the first day, I especially liked the narrow shape of the dress contrasting with the wide draped brim of the hat.

I think Camilla's really found her style groove. I think she looks best in soft pastels, soft fluffy bobbed hair and a cheeky smile!

I agree Eau, but I do wish she'd break out of the rut she's in with the cut/style of her dresses. And we all know how I feel about her trusty black boots in the winter months! Grin

Trouble is, you start caring more about comfort than style as you age! Grin
I have her down like Kate as having a 'work uniform' and like to think she lives in dog hairy jeans when on her own time.

Kate's looking very LK today.
Very normal and appropriate. Colour is not from the palate that suits her IMO and her dress choice of late isn't for me. Sure she gives a flying fox.
Loving her layered delicate necklaces though.
