Royal Style - more outfits as lockdown eases, not more black we hope

Hello, wonderful royal style fans - here's the next thread as the last one will get full soon. Please continue with the great pics, fantastic knowledge and wonderful observations!

I need someone to explain to me if the black pom-pom on Sofia's blouse is functional (she was speaking at an online graduation), or an accessory? The black earrings suggest the black pom-pom is an accessory? All a bit odd, though she looks great, especially considering she had a baby about 3 months ago.

It's the microphone

I thought that it might be, but it seemed to be so co-ordinated with her earrings that I started to doubt myself!

A happy coincidence with the earrings, or she thought - blimey (Swedish equivalent) those earrings look a bit like those pin on microphones! That's me accessorised !

Sofia looks like she's about to break into Dont Cry For Me Argentina there!

@MotherofPearl I too loath handkerchief hems but think the pattern and colour are pretty.

The blue on Carrie is lovely but the striped trousers are ghastly, cropped trousers would be better.

With the fuzzy microphone Sofia reminds me of a poppy.

I think HM has looked good these past few (busy) days, cutting the cake with the sword, meeting all those leaders, Trooping, now tea with Biden. That pink floral get up is a very cheerful, summery look! The gloves mean not so much hand sanitising !

How tall is the Queen?? Kate was towering above her the other day.

She's 5' 3" (I think), although she may have lost height in recent years. Kate towers over a lot of people, I've noticed - although she does tend to wear very high heels.

@Maireas Kate is about 5'10 I think, so well over 6' in her heels. And she looks even taller as she's so slender.

Jill Biden is very attractive and Joe was an absolute looker in his youth!

Thank you, @MotherofPearl! It's the one on the left, with the white bits! I also really like the one on the right with fluted sleeves - she's at Wimbledon there. Not so keen on the centre one.

Ah yes. I quite like the middle one, especially that soft lemon shade, but I suppose that baby doll style is a bit young for her now.

I really like this new ME+EM dress of Sophie’s; she looks great (photo not brilliant though for showing detail). I also like those chunky wooden and navy leather sandals, though I expect they won't be to everyone's taste.

I would assume the Queen has shrunk a bit in recent years, as many older people do. She wasn’t exactly lofty to begin with either…!

Leti’s posture is something else. If you looked up ‘ramrod straight’ in a dictionary it should just have her picture there. Not sure about the hanky hem on that green dress, but I love the flutteriness of it.

I think HM looks like she has lost a lot of weight recently and not had time or a care to have her clothes retailored. Her coats are very roomy at present.

I wish Kate would dress more like that Wimbledon dress. That length of hair is perfect and the dress is modern.

I love all of Kate's yellow dresses in that little montage. The middle lemon one is gorgeous but probably too 'young' now for her more formal engagements.
Loving HMQ in her pink floral outfit, she's a trouper! I have a feeling the Bidens have probably been quite enjoyable to host and seem quite normal and relatable-nice to be around.

I agree, @paradyning- it's a good look for Kate and her hair is better than length (in my opinion). Sophie looks nice! Not too formal and the shoes are great! A nice change from high heeled court shoes....
