Beauty chat - freebies/gifts with purchase/offers

I just wondered if anyone would be interested in discussing the beauty gifts with purchase/offers which come about on Cult Beauty, Space NK and the like every few months. I loved the advent calendar threads and thought this might be similar. If there's already a threat on this apologies & I'd appreciate the link! As you can tell I'm a little addicted and find them hard to resist and would love to compare with like minded pp. We could even do swaps if pp want.
I just cracked and bought the recent Cult Beauty 'Self Care' goodie bag - couldn't resist the name as I'm in desperate need of some self care after a rough few months (isn't everyone?!). I haven't opened it yet as haven't had the time with a 6 month old - but can't wait to have a peak. I also forgot what I bought for the £170 required purchase. But think I snuck in a few bit of makeup which isn't like me as I stick to my favourite makeup and usually just buy skincare and body stuff. Anyone else purchase it? What did you think? Be great to get notifications when other sites/retailers have good offers to!

If anyone is interested, there’s a fairly decent Fenwick GWP out today, £125 spend required.

Dr Sebagh just started another great offer. If you buy any box free product (box free is cheaper than with a box) and use code boxfree1, you get 50% off.

This includes eye creams which if you buy an eye product, you get their depuffing eye gel free. And yes, you can combine this offer with the boxfree offer so you effectively get 2 eye products for 25% of the usual cost.

I'm quite amazed. Over the years I've spent £100s on Dr Sebagh (usually bought in tax free at Heathrow) so I'm taking advantage and stocking up.

Wow - that’s a great offer @HundredMilesAnHour. Thank you for the heads up / code. I’ve just purchased two eye products (which are coming with two samples) for £24 ! Total bargain. Have to confess that I just might also have indulged to get the Fenwick GWP., despite my resolve to hold out until the next Liberty one - whoops. There are actually a few products in there I like the look of - what appears to be a full sized MAC lipstick; a decent sized Milton Brown bath/shower gel; a couple of reusable makeup remover pads; some neck-firming gel (yep, turkey-neck in evidence here ☹️) and some hair volumising spray. All of those will get out to immediate use, plus there are a few other creams/lotions I’ll add to my (non-diminishing stash 😂). Happy day. Lots to look forward to next week........

Should have added above that the full price for the two Dr Sebagh eye products I mentioned above is £100, so they were a steal at £24 with free p&p.. 😊

I think the fenwick GWP is really good & the spend includes fragrance. Unfortunately they don’t stock Byredo, which is what I wanted. I was tempted by a diptyque, but I’ve still got a travel spray from the space NK advent. Am off to look at Dr Sebagh now.

I hope everyone had a lovely Easter and all the goodies arrived in time to have a good pamper session or two! I've had a teething baby so I haven't had as much free time to try out my new stuff as I would have hoped but looking forward to using some new products this week.
I've started the Inky list hyaluronic acid and so far so good! I'm losing the battle with my eye bags and wrinkles tho - it's so hard when I catch myself in the mirror some days Confused .. so thinking of trying the new No 7 serum range .. or finally going for prescription retinol ,, if anyone has been super impressed with any skincare recently
let me know!!!

Anyone know if we are going to see another Jo Malone digital game al la a few years ago. I got a couple of 100 ml perfumes and from memory you had to spend a certain amount and then you played the game. The most prestigious prizes were of course the perfumes,

That sounds good - my perfume knowledge isn't great as I can't wear most scents due to migraine .. sure someone will know .. I do love English Pear and Freesia Smile

I remember that Jo Malone game @Moonstone1234. There was a lot of chatter on a JM Facebook group I joined, broadly saying that the company lost a ton of money on that promotion by giving away 100ml bottles of popular perfumes, so much so that they weren’t planning on repeating it ☹️. That’s for the U.K. I think. I hope they rethink. I’ve so much skincare stuff now, I could do with a splurge on perfume 😂

I got 3 free 100ml bottles. You couldnt choose your scent but all of them are OK. JM is never on offer either. Best place I have found is Duty Free at a true 20% off.

I rinsed that Jo Malone game. It kept my present cupboard stocked up nicely. They do it occasionally but it's nowhere near as good as it used to be.

The John Lewis Hannah Martin is still available at £95. I cannot decide about it but worth £160 it says.

@Giftwithpurchase, the Liberty bag looks quite good, but I’m put off a bit by the Aurelia cleanser (already have quite a few samples and don’t particularly rate it) and the Margaret Dabbs foot cream. Had it instead included the Votary oil cleanser (which was in the Big Night In bag from couple of months ago) I would probably have gone for it.

I had a - sort of similar- five minutes peace kit from Liberty back in February. This one came in a box rather than a bag, but a couple of the products are repeats (Margaret Dabbs foot stuff and the AA rise grl). Agree @AprilLady that there’s been far too much Aurelia cleanser doing the rounds recently. I’ll give this one a miss, but I’m still ever-hopeful for another Liberty GWP soon......

That does look nice - I'd love to try the Bobbi Brown.
Just a bit put off by the black eyeliner - wish they'd let you choose the colour. The CT palette looks lovely

The Hannah Martin box is nice (no idea who Hannah Martin is) but think it's expensive for what it is.

We often get GWPs "worth" that amount so paying £95 for it doesn't seem such a good deal to me...

Worth over 135 quid, apparently. Lots of spf going on. Not really a beauty box I'd order as I'm not out in the sun often and like my routine spf.

None of these boxes are singing to me. I want BEAUTY.
