Beauty chat - freebies/gifts with purchase/offers

I just wondered if anyone would be interested in discussing the beauty gifts with purchase/offers which come about on Cult Beauty, Space NK and the like every few months. I loved the advent calendar threads and thought this might be similar. If there's already a threat on this apologies & I'd appreciate the link! As you can tell I'm a little addicted and find them hard to resist and would love to compare with like minded pp. We could even do swaps if pp want.
I just cracked and bought the recent Cult Beauty 'Self Care' goodie bag - couldn't resist the name as I'm in desperate need of some self care after a rough few months (isn't everyone?!). I haven't opened it yet as haven't had the time with a 6 month old - but can't wait to have a peak. I also forgot what I bought for the £170 required purchase. But think I snuck in a few bit of makeup which isn't like me as I stick to my favourite makeup and usually just buy skincare and body stuff. Anyone else purchase it? What did you think? Be great to get notifications when other sites/retailers have good offers to!

Is there likely to be another Liberty GWP before the Autumn? Because I need to order a couple of things but am hanging on so I can use them for my £250 spend. I don’t think I can make them last until September/October though!

@Carrotsoupispoo, as they had GWPs in December and February (neither of which they have had before as far as I am aware) I would guess there is a reasonable chance of a GWP before September. Last year there was a late April GWP; no idea though whether they will do one this year. There might be less incentive this year with shops opening on Monday??

Sorry about the caps, I copied and pasted. Thoughts? I do like the wash bag, but I got the wet brush in the last gwp and have since bought another for the kids, have a spare Dr Sebagh already from the calendar and won’t use the shampoo and conditioner. It’s worth £342.

The Liberty looks good, I really want a GWP as I have a few other things to buy. I was tempted by the Kate Somerville website last night. Spend £100 & get a set of must have minis worth £58 free. Offer ends today.

I’m tempted by the Liberty offering @Carrotsoupispoo - love the look of the weekender bag and feel that it could be repurposed to hold one of my (many) sewing projects. Some of the contents appeal - I always use bar soap now so happy to have anything from Nesti Dante and hand cream is always useful. Augustinus Badger cream will get used but I also have Dr Seburg stuff from the recent advent calendar. Can add small shampoo and conditioner bottles to my stash in the hope that they might one day be useful for (dare I say it?) travel. I do have a £20 Liberty Collective voucher on my account so it would cost (only) £80. Decisions decisions........

@ElderMillennial I know what you mean - I think all the beauty gifts over the last few years have been so amazing I don't like to actually have to pay for a beauty/skincare box - I just want to get it in addition to my other purchases!!!

@PusheenLove haha I know what you mean. I actually purchased some Nars concealer and a CT eyeshadow palette the other day - never buy makeup as always use the same stuff.. and it was so nice to have something new. I've been so skincare focused I think I've forgotten how new makeup can make you feel

This looks really nice ... very tempted! I love bar soap and think I'm in the minority as I love Malin & Goetz everything ...

I also can't live without my (many) wet brushes .. however the slip skinnies were a disappointing purchase for me last year - initially lovely but stretch so much very quickly to become a bit useless

The Liberty kit is now live. Think I'll pass this time.

@LizzieMacQueen, think I’m also going to pass on the kit. I would be very happy if their next GWP came in that weekender bag though!

I finally got to go shopping and use my Liberty Iphis bag. I’m really pleased with it.

@LizzieMacQueen I think I would go for the Liberty if it was £50 or if the products were slightly tweaked - I do love the travel bag and could really do with a new one tho!

There have been quite a few new boxes released in recent days, and I think the Selfridges one is the best of the lot, so I have not only been tempted but actually bought it. Very pleased with it. The only things I’ve had before are the Bum Bum cream (which I love) and the REN. So lots of new things to try. Also, I had already signed up and paid for the free delivery for a year; this means you get free next day delivery. So ordered late afternoon, and parcel had arrived by mid-morning the next day

House of Fraser 50% offer is still on until Sunday; they had run out of some stock in my local branch by today.

So many of my fave masks in there .. but I'm trying to save for a big splurge for my bday in July.

The Project Earth box looks great - I love Nudestix and that looks a lovely eye pencil.

The only thing putting me off is I read somewhere that a sheet mask is just a wipe with holes in.

I’m in the market for an eye product, ideally something for dark circles/wrinkles. A nice citrusy bar soap, a night moisturiser, maybe a hair mask & some byredo perfume.

I will but the perfume anyway, but I might go & have a mooch in TK Maxx for the rest.

@Offredismysister haha probably very true! Also the single use packaging isn't the best. I do love the Ester Lauder mask tho & would love to try the By Terry one.

Funnily enough I was in tk maxx today having a browse - they had my staple Algenist collegen calming cream for £16 a tube (down from £44) - snapped that up obvs. They also had some Elemis and Zelans which I was pretty tempted by but managed to resist. My eyes are the worst atm - so crepy. It's because I'm missing my sleep but I'm also on the hunt for an eye cream which slightly minimises the damage. So far not much luck.
Hope you find some goodies if you go - which Byredo are you going to get? My everyday is Rose Noir - doesn't give me a migraine like nearly every other perfume weirdly!

I’m going to get the bal d’afrique for summer. I had the hand cream in a Liberty advent some years ago & loved it.
I should get on the beauty hoarders thread as I now need to organise my tiny cupboard & group all my beauty things by skin, hair etc.

@Giftwithpurchase, I think the mask library is the same as the one from a couple of months back, or very similar? I’ve been happily making my way through it.

Yet to find an eye serum/cream that is really great. Unhelfully, the two I’ve liked most recently are £££: a Lucia Magnani one from an F&M calendar, and the MZ Skin Depuff and Define (from the Net a Porter Drs kit from a few months ago). Wouldn’t pay RRP for them though.

Anyone think there may be a Liberty GWP soon? There was one late April last year (but then, they didn’t do a Feb one last year).
