I just wondered if anyone would be interested in discussing the beauty gifts with purchase/offers which come about on Cult Beauty, Space NK and the like every few months. I loved the advent calendar threads and thought this might be similar. If there's already a threat on this apologies & I'd appreciate the link! As you can tell I'm a little addicted and find them hard to resist and would love to compare with like minded pp. We could even do swaps if pp want.
I just cracked and bought the recent Cult Beauty 'Self Care' goodie bag - couldn't resist the name as I'm in desperate need of some self care after a rough few months (isn't everyone?!). I haven't opened it yet as haven't had the time with a 6 month old - but can't wait to have a peak. I also forgot what I bought for the £170 required purchase. But think I snuck in a few bit of makeup which isn't like me as I stick to my favourite makeup and usually just buy skincare and body stuff. Anyone else purchase it? What did you think? Be great to get notifications when other sites/retailers have good offers to!

I didn't see anything to say the prices are taxes and duty paid for international shipping so I assume you are liable for taxes and tariffs when it arrives? Still good value though. I know you can sometimes get away with it but our customs seem to be extra diligent since brexit.

Mind you, these threads last year are why I still have stuff I haven't used yet. I'm getting through it but it's very slow.

@OchonAgusOchonOh, I could put you off: Skinstore is owned by the Hut Group (so same as Look Fantastic). But I’ve ordered from them a few times with no problems.

So, I'm eagerly awaiting the SpaceNK GWP. I've decided I won't be going for an advent calendar this year, as tempting as the SpaceNK one is. Would rather buy stuff I know I like, and have been wanting to try. The freebies and just an extra. Hoping someone leaks the contents soon, as Im ready and waiting!
I've not seen a Diptyque candle in them for ages, and even know they were only small, I loved getting them. Might be pushing my luck, but would love to see another full size moisturiser in there. Doubt they will though, as the last one had SR CEO in!

I'm undecided. I do actually need some basics (body wash and day moisturiser) and have my eye on some clean reserve perfume, so I think I can easily hit the spend.

So then I think I might as well get it, but then have some plastic guilt... But they've already made it...

Hmm it's a bit unexciting. Too many cleansers and tiny creams. 5ml of SPF 50... that'll make all the difference, eh? There are a couple of things I either like or would be keen to try in the GWP, but £175 is much more than I'm needing to spend. Think I'll pass too, disappointingly.

Totally agree @PomRuns. I’ve now passed on the recent CB and Liberty offerings and am not tempted by this SpaceNK one either. Oh well, at least I’m using more stuff from my stash, which can only be a good thing 😂. Disappointing though. I love a good GWP!

The SoaceNK and recent Liberty ones are no way the value they state. A bunch of travel and sample size stuff, nothing to make it feel special at all.
Annoying as I'll need a couple of refills soon and had been waiting for a good deal.

I guess even these retailers are feeling the Brexit/Covid effect.

Agreed, I had a shopping basket ready but I’m also going to pass on the Space NK GWP. Harvey Nicks usually do one end of September, I think I’m going to hold out in the hope that one is a bit better.

Alot of the products have been in the goody bags before too, i dont mind the odd repeat. The only thing that id be interested in from the GWP is the bath salts and the biossance rose oil.. And it contains tje god awful REN spf, amd the Emma Hardie spf, which i hated too!!

Ok. I am also going to pass on the Space NK. I could easily buy the basics I need and add a perfume and hit the value, but I think if I get a GWP now, my advent calendar won't be fun.

If I practise delayed gratification, I might have finished most of the stuff from the March GWP and then have an empty(ish) cupboard for advent calendar goodies which will make it more exciting.

I've gone for the space nk GWP. It does have a few things that I already use, and a few I want to try. Also, I am out of something's that need RP so easily made the spend.

Ok, early morning confession time 😂! Got up to see that the Liberty advent calendar contents have been released. So, so disappointed. (I’ve posted my thoughts on the advent calendar thread). Definitely won’t be getting that ☹️. So, despite all my earlier resolve, I’ve gone for the Liberty GWP, which I neither really want nor need, but I’ve been planning on replacing my ‘holy grail’ three Votary skincare items for a while (just waiting for a good GWP) and yesterday I got an email from Liberty saying there was 10% off. So I’ve ordered this morning. £175.50 instead of £195ish for the Votary stuff and thus qualified for the free gift. When I went to pay I was reminded that I had a positive PayPal balance I’d forgotten about, following the sale of a fragrance, so my bank account is only £122 lighter, and I have something to look forward to 😊
