I just wondered if anyone would be interested in discussing the beauty gifts with purchase/offers which come about on Cult Beauty, Space NK and the like every few months. I loved the advent calendar threads and thought this might be similar. If there's already a threat on this apologies & I'd appreciate the link! As you can tell I'm a little addicted and find them hard to resist and would love to compare with like minded pp. We could even do swaps if pp want.
I just cracked and bought the recent Cult Beauty 'Self Care' goodie bag - couldn't resist the name as I'm in desperate need of some self care after a rough few months (isn't everyone?!). I haven't opened it yet as haven't had the time with a 6 month old - but can't wait to have a peak. I also forgot what I bought for the £170 required purchase. But think I snuck in a few bit of makeup which isn't like me as I stick to my favourite makeup and usually just buy skincare and body stuff. Anyone else purchase it? What did you think? Be great to get notifications when other sites/retailers have good offers to!

@PomRuns shopping every time! Hair is a daily chore but advent calendar shopping only comes around once a year 😂

Feel unique have a GWP ( I'm sure they just had one a week ago ! ) but this is with a spend of £120 and their advent calendar is £119. I'd say that's a good offer.

Off to browse Liberty now.

@Giftwithpurchase honestly, there’s no need to send anything in return. I have a ridiculously large stash of products to work through (hence all the washbags 😂) and now even more stuff on the way from Liberty!. Just happy to rehome the washbag rather than it sit unloved with all the others 😊

I have gone for the Feel Unique gift with purchase. I put a face cream, body wash, shampoo and conditioner in my bag and it was already at £100 so added a bit more!

Feeling the plastic guilt but checked the contents of the bag thoroughly and it's all stuff I will use.

Quite tempted by this for £75. I love Votary and would love another bath oil. Only thing im abut meh about is the Augustinus cream!

Ordered Used another email and got 10% off. None of the GWP were screaming out to me, so this is a lovely treat!

@Caggie09, I went for it too. I love both the Votary and Olverum, and I think it’s their best kit in ages!

I like the look of this one too @Caggie09. I love Votary products and have just last week ordered the Superseed cleansing oil, serum and cream and got those yesterday together with the GWP. . Not looked at the gift in any detail but it’s tiny compared to previous Liberty offerings. There was 10% off though and I really needed the Votary stuff 😊. Looking at the latest kit, more Votary cleansing oil can only be a good thing (so I keep telling myself 😂) and I love Olverum . I’d actually use the AB cream, though it’s not my favourite. Only dud for me might be the hair conditioner as I have super-fine, super-straight shortish hair and this sounds like it might be a bit rich and heavy? I’ll try and hold out for now. I REALLY DON’T NEED ANOTHER WASHBAG!!!

I also declined the space nk gwp (sorry, I know it was a week ago but I’m just catching up with this thread!), none of it was very exciting, I’ve already got a lot of the stuff in full sizes so no need for more plastic cluttering up the drawer/cupboard space. I say it all the time but I’d really rather they just offered one or two full sized free products - I’m sick of seeing that greasy augustinus bader in everything to drive up the ‘value’ - its like sweaty sudocreme, all the things from there that I’ve tried have not only been underwhelming but actively disappointing!

The irony! The only thing that appeals to me (apart from the actual washbag) is the Augustinus cream (which I love and buy normally anyway)/

You should sell your unwanted Augustinus Bader on eBay - or swap it on here.

Interesting hearing this about the Augustinus Bader cream, I've wanted to try it to see just how "amazing" it must be; these comments are putting me off- probably a good thing!

I have tried the ultra rich version and the rich version, they’re both (IMO) vile! They’re thick and heavy, greasy and slimy and leave a grey shiny appearance. Agree @PomRuns - my Nan used to have a tub of nivea she kept by the kitchen sink for use after washing up, I ended up whacking the AB creams on my feet as they caused breakouts on my face due to being so thick and greasy

Cult Beauty fans. The cult conscious edit is out , it is £40. Ok, not a GWP but it's incredibly good value.

I was just coming on to post about that Cult Beauty box, I've just ordered it as it had several things that I've been wanting to try (eg Medik8 eye balm and Ren overnight cream). Great value.

John Lewis are running a beauty event with goody bag. £35 gets you a ticket to an event plus goody bag, and £15 off products from the brand whose event you attend. Goody bag looks excellent value for make up lovers.
