I think I want lemon sherbert and shazam but not sure what else to choose...do any of you have both sides of clouds?

I think that avon may be discontinuing lbd...
They seem to be selling them off :(

I am extremely jealous! I used to have Occur in a giraffe bottle in the late 70s. I just know that Avon would rake it in if they did a vintage or heritage range.

@mrs08 I have a vast collection of 4160 samples but I haven't tried the Clouds range. Happy to provide reviews of anything you're curious about.

I agree re avon...they'd make a fortune re releasing scents like tasha, topaze, Breathless, eau givree, nightmusk....

What are your thoughts on Shazam and dark queen?

Dark Queen is quite civetty and leathery. I reviewed it for Cafleurebon. I found I didn't reach it for it as often as others so my leather loving friend now has it.

I have to dig deep in my memory bank for Shazam. I vaguely recall it smelling like a Victorian market stall that sells dodgy magic charms and potions. Does that help? It's quite BIG.

MissB I have Ealing Green and I adore it; I wore it a lot in July. However, I don't think our tastes in perfume are particularly similar.

SOTD 4160 Tuesday London 1969

I wasn't going to do the 3 for 2 as I am working through my samples still and figuring out what spring scents I want for next year (I like to plan ahead)

But now I'm worrying they might not repeat such a good deal ...

I think I will leave it another couple of weeks and keep going with the samples so if I make a last minute purchase it will at least be an informed one!

How did Dark Queen fly under my radar? Sounds fab - I lurrrrve leather notes, although struggling to imagine them alongside the wonderfully incensed carbs of White Queen.

White Queen and Shazam! are two of my 4160 favourites. Shazam! is an outrageous fizzing ball of orange hippiness (and, given its mood-altering properties, happiness). Hippiness in the same sort of 70s patchouli vibe, as, say Ambre Sultan. Shazam! is an exuberant, good natured riot in a bottle.

Wouldn't wear Shazam! to work as a) people might speculate I live in a commune (nothing wrong with that, but I'm struggling to fit in already with the wunderkinder , and b) you really need to spray with abandon and submit to the whole mood-lifting experience. It's a no half-measures scent.

Just thought I'd post a link to the new thread. I didn't notice we had a new one, and thought others might make the same mistake too.

@RazorstormUnicorn I'd definitely go for it as the most expensive one can be the free one. E.g I'm ordering 15ml of Drive Them Wild worth £55 and I'm getting it free, only spending £25 and £32 respectively on the other two. I thought it would be cheeky to do this, but Sarah herself is positively encouraging it!
