On the recommendation of @MissBattleaxe I have ordered Avon out grandeur and ambre ardent! :)
They are by the same perfumer(rodrigo flores roux) that created little black dress and little black dress weekend which are 2 of my faves so I have high hopes :)

SOTD Byredo Gypsy Water.

I'm coming to this late, as I'm only just starting to explore perfumes.
I've bought samples, and have loved Amouage Jubilation XXV. Just adored it.
But today's was Atelier Cologne Grand Neroli. It came as a freebie with the others, and I'm glad I didn't pay for it as, after a brief burst of unpleasant lemon it just disappeared without trace.
I know the Amouage costs £££s, but I could smell it all day and into the evening.

@Jenthefredo I hope you'll like them. They really are excellent. Rodrigo also made Neroli Portofino for Tom Ford, Clinique Happy and Elizabeth Arden White Tea. Man's a genius.

SOTD waft from the loft. Suited the rain.

Last week a lady asked me what perfume I was wearing while I was doing the weekly shop (iso e super). She said I was leaving a trail behind me but in a good way. Have ordered molecule + sample set.

Sotd is Friedemodin Jardin Mystique for the first time this year. Smells green, lush & musky. I've given up waiting for Summer Weather to wear my Summer perfumes.

Had fab perfume deliveries today!

Received my first patreon scents from 4160 Tuesdays, it's such a treat to myself and the first set are great. 2 I love and 2 that are ok.

Also I purchased a large hardly used bottle of 4160 Dark Heart of Old Havana from someone on Facebook and he threw in loads of samples he wasn't using.

My collection continues to grow faster than I can use it!

SOTD JM Wood Sage and Sea Salt.

Yesterday molecule+patchouli - more rounded/together than I expected, lasted all day and the patchouli didn’t just fade into iso e super.

I avoid patchouli because I expect it to smell like the oil from the body shop in 1990/a horrible solid deodorant I tried from lush.

Going to try again today.

My other plan for today is to plant some seedlings that have come in the post. I do not rate my chances.

SOTD Zara Jo's Rhubarb. A blind buy, and a good one.
Slightly less sharp and without the cannabis undertone of the 4260t rhubarb and citrus. The Zara one is a bit soapy, but still with very tart, juicy rhubarb. I like it a lot, plus it's a real bargain at £25 for 90ml. It'd be perfect for a hot day...

SOTD molecule+iris (not patchouli). Like the patchouli, well balanced with bright iris, not too powdery. Violet note not as long lasting. Powder isn’t really my thing but I can see this being a sub for MH figue amere.

SOTD mmm by the fireplace, popped on for an outing to get my first covid vaccination (at last, younger family in the UK had theirs weeks ago).

Not been wearing or thinking about perfume during crazy time at work but now I am on top of stuff I’m enjoying rediscovering my collection.

It is I Le Clair... it’s been a while since I posted but I have been lurking and have enjoyed your posts. Today I went back to my Perfume Society box and wore Maison Margiela’s Avant L’Orage. Nice for a change but too vanilla sweet for me as it developed. Had a look in Boots thinking about buying my summer favourite Dior Homme Cologne but they didn’t have it. I had a squirt of Ariana Grande Cloud which some have compared to Baccarat but it’s oh so sweet. I found it had a slightly sour baby wipe/ nappy smell which took me back - not in a good way. But the longevity! I could still smell traces of it after multiple hand washes.

I think I prefer the pp dupe of BTF to the original!!!

I found a note I didn't like in AG Cloud too. It was the coconut for me. Do people really think its like BR? How baffling!

That is indeed a bombshell, jen! I'm in Diptyque Geranium today, and have been compiling a parcel of decants and samples for one of my students who is a perfumista in training. We have never actually met face to face, but I am going to his work (hospitality) this week and going to drop it off for him there. I'm excited to find out what he thinks.

queen don't let me put you off! The original is gorgeous (and I love the bottle too!) but sadly on my skin after a few hours I get a hit of clove.
I cannot stand clove.
I don't get that with the pp version (because its a cheap knock off probably!)
