Really don't like it in perfumes. Don't mind it in curries though😊

It's so strongly a campfire, which I love the smell of, but I think in a perfume it's too much.

It's a sample, and luckily I don't love it as I don't think it's being sold anymore.

Sisley Izia today. I've just received a 10 ml decant from a member of a perfume Facebook site. I always try this in duty free, so I wanted to test it in real life.
I'm a sucker for Galbanum and this smells like it at the beginning, but actually isn't. Rather it's Aldehydes, Pink Pepper & Bergamot. Then a pretty persistent Rose rounded by Peony.
I'm in need of pretty, pink, fluffy, uncomplicated things. We're having issues with ds2 and I'm so tired & stressed. As soon as one seems happier another teen. bites the dust🤯

@Jen I've added Halston to my list if must watch. I've got to get thru' series 4&5 of the Affair first though. I'm watching this so very late, but finding it's absolutely brilliant and so well acted. This & Outlander ( after Chernobyl of course) are my all time favourite series.

I loved S1 of outlander but wasn't so keen on S2 so stopped watching.
Chernobyl was some of the best TV I've ever seen.
Which reminds me - I watched the 10 year anniversary of Friday night dinner programme and it was so sad :(
Paul Ritter was so good in Chernobyl but it will be Martin goodman he is remembered for I think...
He participated in the programme but was obviously very ill. I sort of wish I hadn't watched it iyswim?
I've just started watching the kominsky method and I'm enjoying it so far

It's been hit and miss tbh and I haven't liked that many so far :(

I was really looking forward to the unisex pack but it hasn't amazed me, unfortunately. My all-time favourite (black calamus) came from a Bloom sample pack so I keep waiting for the magic to be repeated!
I've got my eye on a bottle of ACDD on eBay but if I don't get that I'll get Lair du desert Marocain new instead.

Hello Lovelies, I am back from the property and DIY pages dead, after a post-divorce house move. After 6 months of frantic home improvements, perfume has finally percolated back into the picture (Maslow's hierarchy of needs? ).

How are you all doing? What have I missed? I need to read back. Had a quick skim and saw reference to cloves, so SotD is Agua de Colonia Concentrada. A classic Spanish cologne that smells like a cold remedy for a hot day.
