It's been a very difficult time. Yes, lockdown has been very hard for her, as she's developed mental health issues where there were none before. I'm trying to help solve them, but I think it's going to be an ongoing issue. She's in a really high pressure academic environment too, which doesn't help.

Sotd is Fleur Du Matin again.I'm still as much in love with this as I always was.
But it's now discontinued😭.

Waft From the Loft is nice enough, but it has that sherbetty scent I associate with all 4160 perfumes. I really should stop buying them.

queen I love the original NRFH and it's one of the rare perfumes I have always replaced when I run out - have you tried that one? It is musky but not skanky. It reminds me a bit of MMM Lazy Sunday Morning (which I also own.)

Happy anniversary @Jenthefredo! I've just had my Pick n Mix samples from Feel Unique and I particularly love Versace For Her Dylan Turquoise and Floral Street Neon Rose, although the latter smells more Peony than rose, and is none the less beautiful for it.

SOTD is 4160 Tuesdays sample of rhubarb and Custard I took with me for a weekend in the campervan to try and disguise I've been showering less. Not sure if it's worked.

I quite like it and am delighted the samples have come into their own as I can travel again!

Noooooo!!!! Help!! Dh asked me what perfume I wanted for my birthday and I asked him for santal 33, the silly bigger just ordered it off Amazon it’s going to be a fake isn’t it?? I could cry, he said it was 60 quid cheaper still over 200 pounds, fuck. I only asked for the 15ml but he wanted to get me a full bottle, can anyone tell me it’ll be ok?? I could cry!

It might not be a fake Hex. Amazon is pretty strict about these things and I've always had genuine perfumes from there. Sometimes the actual brand site is the most expensive.

Thanks @MissBattleaxe, I’ve had a shitty day and it was just the last straw. I’ve emailed le labonto ask if the third party is a genuine stockist.. it doesn’t look good, their reviews aren’t great. If le labonsay it looks Fogeys then I’ll just ask him to return it for a refund when it arrives and hopefully we’ll get the money back
