SOTD PP dupe of bal d'afrique - I'm not loving it, its just no the same, close but has a slight undertone of cats piss which I'm not enjoying (understandably) at least it was cheap. On a positive note though I'm loving their wood fire (thanks for recommendation @Bee0808) had it on on Monday and Tuesday in honour of the Easter snow here and can still catch whiffs of it off my big woolly jumper.

SOTN is Twilly - Hermes. very fresh yet floral. i can smell the white flowers and you all know i am a white flower fiend!! it just arrived this afternoon along with a bottle of Opium but i have a headache so im not int he mood for Opium tonight. Really must get round to sorting through at some point, tbf, my whole bedroom needs a good sort out, its got madly out of hand int here, theres clothes EVERYWHERE!!

SOTD is The Body shop British Rose, because I'm wearing a rose print dress! I know TBS isn't very popular on MN and nor are rose fragrances but I find this one very fresh and I find it quite comforting.

Emperors new clothes for me I'm afraid! And I LOVE woody scents.
It was a faint smelt of pencil shavings for me. You could layer it I guess but I find layering a bit tedious.
Molecule 04 was the same...just a faint smell of something cedary.
Its a clever marketing ploy imho.
Sotd EL modern museum nuit - a linear but very pleasant vanilla/patchouli

SOTD is Vamp a NY- a surprise sample from @udnertheradar. It’s a really fun scent, very bubblegum-y with a hint of rum. Possibly a bit much for nursery drop off and working from home in my scruffy leggings but I’m enjoying it!

SOTD French Lover by Frederic Malle. Awfu name but it smells great. It's supposed to be for men but I love it. It's woody and unusual. Got it in a lovely Malle discovery set at Xmas.

I've just been marinading a leg of lamb with Meera Sidhu Lamb Raan Recipe with lots of spices. So I need something redolent with Cinnamon, Ginger & Cardamom. Maybe a Marina Barcenilla Perfume or Houbigant's Indian Summer, If I can find my vintage mini. It was snowing here a few minutes ago, so its definitely not summer scent weather.

I watched a Michael Portillo train journey last night on TV.
He went to Floris in Jermyn St.
I remembered I had a sample of Floris Jermyn. It is really lovely, heavy citrus.
