Anyone recommend a micro current device?

I’m in my mid 40s and definitely have jowls, wrinkles etc. I also have acne so not keen to try creams, serums etc.
I’ve been looking at the NUFACE micro current device and wondering whether it actually works?!!! Looking to tone up my skin. Would love to hear your thoughts

Is it supposed to make a really loud buzzing noise when you use it?! Also I can't get it connected to the app. Not sure about this to be honest 🤔

Thanks i managed to connect it this morning. I'd watched a couple of you tube videos to see how to use it but I couldn't hear any buzzing so I panicked!

Used mine for the first time this morning and it was lovely. I couldn’t understand how it was doing anything as it just felt like a gentle massage but I could really feel that my muscles had been working afterwards.

I also remembered to take a photo before I used it and will take another photo each week to track progress.

The “buzz” is the deep toning mode. You do want the “buzz switch” ON!

Has anyone booked on of the free virtual consultations Foreo offer? I read a blog post that shared interesting tips from theirs.

I've been using the Foreo Bear for 2 weeks (10 minutes daily) - no visible changes yet & it doesn't feel like it's 'doing' anything. I don't feel like my muscles have had a workout afterwards either. Its early days, I will persevere.

Oh I only do about 3 minutes daily , I'll have to up the time I'm doing it then.

@Eyjafjallajokulldottir... it’s good to take a “before” snap. Gives perspective. Also, there are some sites where they offer a money back if not completely satisfied thing. I’ve not needed to try this but, might be worth having a look.

I think the thing is to ALWAYS use in upward/outward motion too. I do an “up and hold” for a couple of seconds on my cheeks as my marionettes are slipping downward. It might not make any difference but, I’ll give it a go.

In the grand scheme of things, it’s not going to change my world but hey... 🤷🏻‍♀️

Very pleased to find a Bear related thread as I've recently got one too! Good reminder to take a before photo as I think I'm getting results but nice to be able to track progress.
I use The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid serum which is cheap as chips and seems to work well.

@DailyCandy yes I have one. It's about 10 years old. I love it but it takes forever! It's about 30 mins to do your face
It was amazing though. I tried to get a new one but I can't find anymore?!

It’s available from stressnomore and holdbacktime web sites in the UK. Looks like a new model may be coming out... but that always means price goes up!

Think of all the little things you’ve not had this year. I’m not much of a clothes person. I’m too practical in everyday life to wear anything more than my outdoor/work stuff. My son tells me he’s sick of seeing me caked in mud! We’ve not had a holiday since summer 2019 and most likely, the way things are going, won’t be going this year either (health and COVID19 reasons). I don’t feel it’s a massive indulgence 😊 I’d been doing weird facial exercises forever and never saw any difference.

Life’s very short.

And, new technologies are coming out all the time. I remember a friend having something with little pads on which she’d wear and swore by but who has the time for that, these days? I wanted something quick and easy that I’d stick to or else it’d be shoved away in a drawer and a total waste of cash.

@EleanorRigbyWasReal it's completely true. But this year 2021 started with me buying creams, something that never before I've done with interest (more as an obligation) and watching myself in zooms thinking of surgery for my jawls . I think that if the bear does not it's magic I would/will need one of those micro surgeries. I am your age, by the way!
