We used to have one of these and it was fab!

It was vaguely for size 18+, but I know a 5 foot size 16 is not the same as a 6 foot one, so don't think it needs to be strict.

Anyway, if anyone would like to join me they'd be v welcome.

FWIW, I'm a tall size 18, apple shape.

Still in my PJs . Then going out for a walk / run (stating C25K again).

@wagsandclaws your legs are fantastic (unfortunately I seem to have Ernie Wise's - short fat and hairy for those too young to remember)

No way would I fit mine into those boots or any similar.

I am similar size to you, but 5' 2". I am doing Dry January so think I have dropped a few pound - way to scared to weigh myself!

@Wagsandclaws, welcome! You do have fantastic legs! I totally agree re getting dressed at the moment. I feel a lot better if I do hair and makeup as well, so I am going to do that today. Might even wear a dress instead of my uniform of jeggings! All that said, I'm not dressed yet. Will get dd sitting down for homeschool first.

@Wagsandclaws you really suit those colours too. I’m never 100% sure what colours I actually suit.

Today I'm wearing a black Uniqlo crew neck T-shirt XL which is nice and long so goes over my waist nicely and a dark grey fur lined Uniqlo Hoodie XL I forgot I had and my SB leggings because I love how they feel on my legs.

@Wagsandclaws lovely outfit you look fabulous.

@SoDiorDarling how do the Spanx leggings compare to the SB. Are they tighter what's the material like in comparison. Do they feel warmer?
I've got more SB arriving today 2 x high shine in regular length not 7/8 (because I love how they feel) and one pair of the super sculpt high-waisted to try out. All in the sale which is still on for some colours for some of the leggings in all sizes.

@FlyingByTheSeatof yes I got the petite size in L - they're tight as hell but they're so good! I got the leather look ones so not as slinky smooth like the SB ones. In fact they're not remotely comfy but...beauty is pain! I think they'll be good for going out - if and when we can do that again. I wouldn't like to eat in them

Here I am in hoodie dress, (which may as well just be a hoodie on me, it's so short! But, I'm not going anywhere, just cleaning today, so it's fine), navy Snags and Pozu high tops.

Excuse the toddler fingerprints on the mirror . I swear I do actually clean!

Mine have just arrived and all fit luckily. The Super sculpt and high shine in regular are quite long actually but just right for me at 5'6 but would be too long in an XL for anyone under that because I guess the larger the size the longer they get. There is a slight wrinkle at the bottom due to the length but my 7/8 were giving me cold ankles in this weather. I love them all.

@Hepzibar I'm pretty sure your pins aren't quite like Ernie Wise's 🤣 i'd ike to be a bit more balanced as when I lost weight it all just seemed to go from my arse and legs but stay everywhere else 🙄

How do plus sizes find Uniqlo? I looked at their size chart abs didn't think I could get anywhere near their stuff size wise?

I bought a load of love leggings in an 18 and they are too big on the legs, I've left it too late to return them abs they are just too baggy, I found ASOS ones in their normal range in a size 16 quite good as they stretched to fit my size 20 stomach but remained quite fitted on the legs. It's the same with jeans I just can't get good ones to fit an extreme apple without them being too big from the tummy down.

Well I failed miserably today 😩 I had a quick shower and got into a George t shirt and some lovely cashmere wide leg lounge pants from m and s that I got for Christmas, not exactly what I had planned to wear today but too comfortable!

Note to self, will try to do better tomorrow.

@Wagsandclaws, I find Uniqlo ok. Their XL and XXL are probably like 16-18 and 18-20...I think. Like you, I am an apple shape, so I get away with smaller bottoms if they don't dig into my torso,(and create a delightful muffin top )! So their jeggings I can wear an XL no problem. Same with big jumpers and things.

Checking in before my battery runs out. Am Uber slob atm but will try to make more effort once a week!

Uniqlo I have XL which is 16 and XXL 18 I have various tshirts and jumpers in both these sizes and they both fit. I'm a 16 now but they did fit when I was 18/20. I do seem to fluctuate during the day and defo seem to go up a size after eating.

@Wagsandclaws the Sinophant plus leggings will suit you perfectly I think size wise from Amazon.

Boring, but cosy outfit today. It's cold this morning!

• M&S Jeggings, 18

• Uniqlo lambswool jumper, mens size XL! Got a tip on this board a while ago, to buy mens jumpers if you are tall with a big frame and / or like an oversize jumper. It's quite a good tip, as I do find womens jumpers often are made of less nice fabric or are ££££ or are very fine knit, or are too fitted for me! Also, mens jumpers come in more necklines. So if, like me, you just want plain, v neck, real wool jumpers, mens are better.

• Seasalt Towpath boots in bitter chocolate. These are amazing boots, but are snug round the calf. I tend not to gain that much weight on my legs, even if I'm weight training, so I don't normally get this problem, but these reall are snug on the calf. Just a warning if anyone is considering them!

That photo has shamed me into cleaning my mirror! I expect it will have toddler paw prints on it by tomorrow, but hey ho.

Oh @FlyingByTheSeatof, your SB leggings have reminded me that my lululemons arrived yesterday! Haven't tried them on though, but they look like they'll fit. I'll report back.

I also found this. A friend's sister is a size 12 (actually I think she is smaller) . I have 2 pair of her leggings and they fit me (18/20). Well chuffed!
