Lipstick Challenge - a different lipstick each day of Jan!

I remember a similar thread a few years ago that went down well

The idea is to use a different lipstick every day and share with the thread whether a review, photo, anything! It isn't about buying new ones necessarily but rediscovering ones you already own.

We do a NYD dinner here so will put a nice new one on for that tomorrow and report back!

@Soutiner I remember buying my first lipstick in the late 1980s, it was also pale frosted pink. The shade was called Waterlily and I wanted to be the girl from Labyrinth.

Loving all the lipsticks. I have very sore lips and terrible skin at the moment

Gutted I can't wear lipsticks for a week or so as I had already broken Dry Jan so was keen to stick to this!

I've been enjoying this thread so much, I'm finally daring to join.. don't have enough lipsticks for a different one every day, but I am doing my own version which is wearing any lipstick every day! My favourite at the moment is a Charlotte Tilbury, called Kidman's Kiss

The sales assistant at CT counter actually suggested it for me when I asked him if the more coral-like pink I had selected suited me. Taking this photo has reminded me to find my lip liner (not used since Feb 2020...!).

feeling brave enough to join in - im enjoying this challenge! love a good faff and it adds a bit of extra colour to a day at home.

i've got mac mehr with a tiny bit of pale toffee gloss on top. i think MAC mehr and faux are my all time favourites.

Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk turns orangey on my lips. This is a good dupe and doesn’t turn orange.

Revlon Untold stories. Make sure your lips are not dry before applying as it’s a matte lipstick that needs to be worn on hydrated lips.

I like that and I haven’t got that one so might have to get it as it looks more pink toned than many of her orange/peach/coral toned shades.

Elizabeth Arden Desert Rose, this is really old and has gone a bit dry but the colour is just a better version of my lips.

I have a few Essence lipsticks, I like their formulas. Essence is a well-known brand in the rest of Europe, it really should catch on here!

Today I've gone for Chanel Rouge Coco flash in 54 - "Boy".

I think its a sheer lip colour - very shiny?

Feels so lovely on, very easy to wear as in no lip liner, easy to touch up without mirror but not long lasting.

Would love to but more of these but just too £££

i love the look of that Natasha Denona in Avery. its another brand i've never heard of.

@onwheels Avery actually looks a bit darker and cooler in reality- it is a beautiful lipstick- it's vanilla scented and semi-matte. Only problem is the price otherwise I'd buy more colours- waiting for payday!

I want the Avery one although I do have a gazillion lipsticks all very similar!

Here is another one that looks very similar to many of my others - LLamasqua in Bare. Nice colour but unpleasant thick texture. Not bad staying power and does better with a balm underneath. This is worn today with no balm but I might add some Vaseline on top later.

I've a rimmel stay Matt in Plumb the show on today. I love the colour and if anyone can recommend similar in the maybelline formula it would be perfect as this is quite dry in comparison.
