Lipstick Challenge - a different lipstick each day of Jan!

I remember a similar thread a few years ago that went down well

The idea is to use a different lipstick every day and share with the thread whether a review, photo, anything! It isn't about buying new ones necessarily but rediscovering ones you already own.

We do a NYD dinner here so will put a nice new one on for that tomorrow and report back!

L'Oréal liquid colour in 114 I represent today.

Also, thank you to whoever said to flip the image, my lips look much less wonky in the pictures now.

This will go in the discard pile - hate lip gloss, colour too vampy. It's coming off fairly quickly. Settles in creases.

Boots No 7 High shine lip gloss in (can't remember!). There's a pinky nude that was in the same gift set to come later in the month - I predict that one going the same way!

Mine for today is the Maybelline superstay matte ink in Artist

This feels so nice on but it's more of a gloss so probs won't last long

I've got the Rimmel Stay Satin in Sika on today. Its not as mask proof as the matt ones but its also less drying.

I’m wearing the benetint lip balm today. The colour looks a bit darker in real life, but it wears off quickly so I reapplied for the picture.

I bit my lip in the corner yesterday and it looks worse today. I have on NYX soft matte lip cream in Cannes. It actually feels really nice! Goes on like a gloss but is now sitting as a lipstick would.

This is Revolution Matte in the shade Destiny

I would never have worn a colour like this until recently but have been leaning towards the more brick coloured reds for some reason. I read on another thread that your skin tone changes as your age and I think that might be what it is as I'm finding my taste in clothes colours is changing as well.

Another Rimmel stay satin today but not sure which shade it is as the label came off. I'm in my mask a lot today so will be testing the lasting power :)

Pat McGraph Blitztrances are nothing special. Fabulous tube but the lipsticks are just ok. Two I will probably wear again and will look better with a tan in the summer.

I expected more dazzle but probably just as well they aren’t!

They aren’t what I would call a luxury lipstick formulation.

The gorgeous tube is definitely style over content!

Argh just lost a post. Today I coloured my lips in with an NYX lip pencil in hot red and then put NYX fig over the top. IRL it is quite a deep pink but hard to capture in artificial light.

@SuperPixie247 I have added the Cannes lip cream to my next subscribe & save order - I also added Antwerp and Amsterdam. I’ll probably just choose one of the three, but which one??

This is Estée Lauder Pure Color Envy in Posh Plum - part of a set I got for Christmas.

This feels a little bit choccy and dry after yesterday's choice. Might have to put summer lanolin over the top. this is Mac in runway hit

I've an Elizabeth Arden moisture rich lipstick on today. The name has rubbed off though as had this years. Its got a kind of gold sheen the camera hasnt picked up.

Looks awful in the tube so much so that I took one look at it and put it away unti I found it a few months later and tested it.

A pleasant surprise as although it’s very dark it can be applied lightly and unlike a lot of brown lipsticks it doesn’t turn orange and there is mauve pigment which makes the teeth look whiter!

It’s now a favourite and one of the few Mac’s which isn’t drying.

I like the look of that MAC Coffee & Cigs one.

I had A Clinique Chubby Stick in Broadest Berry on today (no photo) and it looked really good on camera. I'm interested to see whether my class notice my lipstick game in the next few weeks...
