I remember a similar thread a few years ago that went down well

The idea is to use a different lipstick every day and share with the thread whether a review, photo, anything! It isn't about buying new ones necessarily but rediscovering ones you already own.

We do a NYD dinner here so will put a nice new one on for that tomorrow and report back!

@LivingDeadGirlUK matte ink in ruler is similar, maybe not quite as dark.

Loreal Paris Les Chocolats Ultra Matte Liquid in Ruby

As you can see by my ages lips I can’t wear it as it is even with a lip liner. I’ve taken the photo as it isn’t to show you the lovely colour but I blot it and blot it and take it right down so it’s not as heavy looking.

It’s a beautiful non drying liquid lipstick that does not budge until you forcibly remove it!

It doesn’t make teeth look yellow, smells of a vanillary chocolate and isn’t sticky. Smooths the lips.

i love the pink clinique pop one - i love brighter bold colours but dont like my teeth enough to wear them often.

the last bold shade i got was a mac mini lipstick in a shade called captive. quite a dark pink with a touch of purple. a nice creamy formula too, so pretty nice to wear.

Just added that to my must buy list! This thread is not good for my bank balance.

MAC Faux. its a satin cream formula but i need a touch of lip balm under it. probably need a liner but i like just shoving it on. i think its a nice neutral pink for my pale skin and i like it with taupe eye shadow.

i've actually got Ruler and love it, I wore it on page 2 and its a lot more pink on me than the deep berry of todays offering. Unfortunately my pics are crap as the camera on my phone is appalling.

@onwheels I've got that Mac captive one too - must look it out.

Thanks @RedLipsAndRosyCheeks - I never used to wear bright lipsticks but I've found as I get older I need something to brighten my face. Particularly in mattes - a nude matte just makes me look like a corpse!

Primark lipstick in Feelin fierce, its split into two colours which is a bit odd but does feel very creamy.

@FreekStar that is so pretty! I've never used any Anastasia products before but might check them out.
I have way more than enough lippies for this. So happy to be wearing lipstick again in the last couple of months after the relaxing of mask rules in Melbourne.

mac twig today, a light sweep on rather than pushing it into my lips. matte i think. very similar to my MAC mehr but a matte slightly darker version. i like a soft outline without liner but looking at my own photos, i think i need to wear liner!

poppy pop clinique is lovely. dont think it would suit my colouring but its such a lovely colour

maybelline matte ink in Ruler, which I love. applied ages ago, but still looks ok enough for zoom calls

i think i'm running out but have a few older Revlon and some NYX and MAC glosses.

L'Oréal Paris Rouge in 113 I don't.

This is new, I've got a couple of other shades in this range. It's an orangey red.
I've got some lipcote on too because it's more of a stain than a matte lipstick and it does fade a little.

I wish they would write the name a bit (lot) bigger... I am wearing one of those paint on thingies from Maybelline. It is a nice red but I have no idea what it is called.

It's so nice, my pic hasn't really done it justice, its a lot more deep/bricky than pioneer etc. Also this one prob has the best staying power of all my Matt Inks, I have to soak my lips in a lip oil to get it off!

I will wrinkle up my face just for you all to try to see what it says! No actually I have just managed to see the top of it and it says 'individualist'. I think I got it after someone else on the thread mentioned it?

Actually after all that I am wearing NYX Butter gloss (love them) in summer fruit.!
