Lipstick Challenge - a different lipstick each day of Jan!

I remember a similar thread a few years ago that went down well

The idea is to use a different lipstick every day and share with the thread whether a review, photo, anything! It isn't about buying new ones necessarily but rediscovering ones you already own.

We do a NYD dinner here so will put a nice new one on for that tomorrow and report back!

This is new and I love it!

Today’s lipstick is a recent purchase from Cult Beauty. It’s Kosas lipstick in Rosewater. It’s a cream fiormula, not all that opaque so looks natural on the lips- I really like it and can see me buying more colours from this brand.

Today is Maybelline Superstay Ink Crayon in Stay Exceptional. Even my lips are un-photogenic

@purplepebbles Whatcomments do you get? Is it just because it's a bold colour? I never feel quite right in bold lipsticks unless it's for a night out. I have a friend who only ever wears bright red or fascia. She feels too pale in nudes. I think it's just what you get used to seeing yourself in. iWork in a primary school and the children do comment if I wear an even slightly noticeable colour to my usual nudist pinks.

Today is Maybelline Matt Ink in Ruler. Love this one so much and totally mask proof!

Loving this thread and seeing everybody's lipsticks. Shame I've committed myself to a no spend six months. Here is what I'm wearing today, I don't think it particularly suits me but I doubt it so I must wear it LOL. It's another Maybelline powder matte in 15, smoky taupe

I like that Kosas Rosewater one.

This is Russian Rose it’s an Armani matte one.

Freekstar, I can’t wear vivid reds anymore due to age. It makes me look like a vampire and is aging.

What I do is fine then down by blotting and then put a balm under or over the top.

Today I’ve got a Kiko matte (?) velvet passion 310 strawberry red.

Might have gone a bit OTT with the liner

Love the Kiko lipstick. Are their products good?

I am on another mini NYX but going to mix it up tomorrow!

I have two or three Kiko lipsticks purchased after reading one of the previous lipstick threads. This shade is lovely and it was inexpensive so I didn’t mind buying online without checking it in person first.

A random max factor lipstick in pink brandy today. A peachy/orangey/pink, not a colour I'd normally choose but I quite like it. Used lipcote bad clear lip liner so we will see how long it lasts.

It’s only a cheap one but it has a really nice formula and smooth feeling when worn.

I’m wearing the sadly discontinued Sweet Desire lipstick from Shiseido today. A creamy formula in a pale mauve.

One of the MAC Aaliyah ones called Mire Than A Woman. I thought I remembered thinking it is too dark but actually it's slightly redder than I recall. It's going in my 'keep' pile (I'm using the Challenge to declutter my lipsticks).

I'm on gloss today for trip to the park. Soap and Glory Rose and shine except its making my lips feel weird :/

Today's is a new one for me. Kiko 432 smart. Not the rich brick red I was after but I think I like it nonetheless. I've never used this brand before but I've got to say I'm impressed; it's nice and creamy and soft, very comfortable to wear.

Kiko seems like a brand to take a punt on especially if you can't get to the shops. There looks to be a good sale on at the moment too...

Kat Von D liquid lipstick in Everlasting today. Not a brand I would usually go for but someone bought it for me. Could probably benefit from a lip liner but I very rarely bother especially for just lounging around the house.

I’ve just coloured my lips in with an nyx sweet pink lipliner today and popped a bit of clarins lip comfort oil over the top.

Here’s mine today, have been wiped out in bed for the last 2 days with a mysterious bug! Just woke up and wanted to make myself feel a bit better so slapped on some lippy for a photo

We seem to have similar taste so now I am going to have to stalk you! I have the Pink Brandy one too. I nearly threw it out but I think it is quite a nice colour - a change from my usual bright red/pinks.

The Fenty one looks fab on you!!

I forgot to say I am wearing a more nudey one - Nic Chapman for MAC. It was ok but donning a mask whenever I leave reception means it soon disappeared.
