Lipstick Challenge - a different lipstick each day of Jan!

I remember a similar thread a few years ago that went down well

The idea is to use a different lipstick every day and share with the thread whether a review, photo, anything! It isn't about buying new ones necessarily but rediscovering ones you already own.

We do a NYD dinner here so will put a nice new one on for that tomorrow and report back!

Hmmm, as I thought, the Clinique All Heart lipstick I was wearing the other day is warmer and lighter than it used to be . The one I was wearing was a new one I bought recently, I just dug out the old version- which is a long last lipstick from before they added the white middle bit- and it definitely used to be more of a red and less orange. The top swarchis the old and bottom the new.

Thanks @Deathraystare, I really love bright lipstick as you can probably tell . Looks great on you @RedLipsAndRosyCheeks. It has some impressive staying power, I had to use make remover to get it off. I forgot to post yesterday's, this was Bourjois rouge edition velvet in 07 nude-ist (2nd pic). I think this is a little too brown to suit me but I still love it.

Todays is Clinque chubby stick in Mighty Mimosa. My lips are a bit dry today so this feels nice on.

In these days a walk to the high street with a friend is an event worthy of a going out lipstick!

Collection lip stain in Flirt today. I have remembered why I don't ever wear this, its very patchy when applying & I'm not keen on the colour. One for the bin I think.

Gosh you are right about the All heart lipstick. I have got it a few times and I can remember one time putting it on and thinking this has changed, But like a goldfish I obviously forgot very soon after!

I went through my box of cosmetics to find some lipsticks and only found a Bobbie Brown one , my lippies must be in another box.

Anyway, todays is Bobbi Brown Cosmic Raspberry. It is a blue pink I think or maybe bit of blue in red, but looks ok on, not too blue I find.

MAC amplified in Craving. I bought this online & I'm not sure it suits me. I think its cool toned but its just too muted. Its a shame as I love the texture. I would love to get another from this range once the shops have re-opened so I can pick a better shade.

Revlon Kiss Cloud in cashmere mauve today, which is very subtle, feels a bit oily on and doesn't have great staying power. I don't love it tbh, it's kinda ok

but funny how the same lipsticks look different on different people. I have MAC Craving and it's less bright, more of a mauve on me.....it's in my work bag somewhere otherwise I'd try to find it

very impressed and a more fig/brown berry rather than my usual mauve or nude pink.

the lip crayon is very shiny and moisturising, not sure how long lasting but has lasted a couple of hours with minimal eating and drinking.

Elf lip oil in mocha kiss today as I'm so dry.

Rimmel Kate lipstick, shade 30. Its darker in real life, a very dark vampy burgundy red. Apologies for the terrible photo today

a Rimmel Color Rush lip crayon I found lurking in the drawer today - no idea what the colour is, but it's easy to apply and nice enough on, if not v long lasting

Bourjois rouge velvet in 05 flamingo.
Love it but not worn for ages because it's not very long lasting. Got liner and lipcote on today so will see if that helps.

In fact I was thinking this morning that my new Bobbi Brown lipstick looks like one of my Bourjois ones.

The Boobi Brown was part of a set with her vitamin cream (really lush), the smokey mascara which I like but I guess not waterproof and a golden rose eye stick shadow which is lovely too. I have had that before. I will not even begin to describe the lipstick as I am shit at that. However I can tell you it is NOT a deep pur

This is Nyx soft matte lip cream in Rome. This feels really nice and not at all drying.

I have craving! Why is it I am looking for pinks and red with blue in , when I need warmer tones! I suppose because they are bright and I love colour?

I am hoping my colouring is neutral enough to get away with them.
