For those of you missing tiaras and bling the new Netflix series Bridgerton has amazing costumes in general, but the jewellery esp on the mothers is fabulous. Fake of course, but you can't tell!

Baby Charles is exceptionally cute, and his parents look delighted with him. Do you think this is a silk shirt Stephanie's wearing? The Luxembourg royals always seem quite formal to me, and I like this more relaxed photograph.

Princess Delphine (I’m obsessed with the new Belgian Princess) has a fund named after her. Taking on some royal duties. Style is a touch Headmistress. Also appears to be talking to a plant.

Dear frugalkitty, everyone has the fingers for a cluster ring.

I wrote a very very long post which I managed to accidentally delete which explains that yes Prince Albert & Boris Johnson are very very very distantly related, along the lines of 22nd cousin 8 times removed or similar.
Now I'm all internet wizzed out!

But aren't most of us with British ancestry descended from Edward III or some other royal?

I can testify to the fact that big cluster rings look better on sausage fingers than dainty ones! Even when thin, I still had chubby chipolatas. Gets expensive, you need big diamonds to fit!!

Monaco and the royal family was my specialist subject for my french A level oral exam a gazillion years ago One of the best biographies I read, until the book fell apart, was written by one of her bridesmaids. It was so interesting as they moved in such starry circles so there was lots of gossip about other Hollywood actors and actresses in it too.
