I have this Omega, absolutely love it

Crabwoman · 10/12/2020 13:23

Cartier Santos or Tank.
Or a Jeager lecoultre moonphase one.

Fruitinator · 10/12/2020 13:51

Ballon Bleu de Cartier, I like the Ballon Blanc too.

A. Lange & Sohne - Saxonia (any they are beautiful)

Rolex Datejust 31 (white gold & diamonds...if feeling really flush!)

I love a vintage men's dress watch too.

Bluntness100 · 10/12/2020 13:53

I have this tag and would recommend.

beguilingeyes · 10/12/2020 13:58

Cartier Ballon Bleu for me too..I'm wearing a lookey-likey version now.

Or the Omega De Ville Ladymatic. The one I like retails at around £22,000...so it's a lottery watch

Cartier Tank Americaine. Its the longer version of the Tank Francaise and I think its more feminine.

There's a diamond version and omg it's beautiful.

TH22 · 10/12/2020 14:09

Cartier Tank Louis please!

catwithflowers · 10/12/2020 14:10

Dodgy link, sorry

MatildaonaWaltzer · 10/12/2020 14:14

just the usual flag of warning that you do realise you'll be paying around £500+ (depending on brand) for full servicing every couple of years and that your watch will be away for anything up to 3 months while they do that.

AuntieStella · 10/12/2020 14:17

Garmin Forerunner 945 or Fenix6

glas14368 · 10/12/2020 14:19

I would like a Cartier Panthere watch. The cheapest one too, don't need diamonds.

Would be a massive upgrade from my usual wrist adornment of hair bobble.

I have the Tag aquaracer but my face is a very pale pink / silver
Had it over 10 years now and it’s still in excellent condition and it’s gone up in price from when I bought it

Chesneyhawkes1 · 10/12/2020 14:30

@AuntieStella I like your style 😊

FlyingByTheSeatof · 10/12/2020 14:40

Cartier Tank for me as well. Tank solo

Bellsandwhistle · 10/12/2020 14:45

Lol have a garmin on now!! Think DH mustn’t like it!!

Bellsandwhistle · 10/12/2020 14:47

These suggestions are fab. Immediate thought was Cartier and possibly tank solo but love the panthere one now too. DH suggested omega as I got him one for wedding present and I do like the de ville ones but like above poster I don’t need diamonds and £22k def outside budget!

I have a Rolex about twelve years old
now and had it serviced this year which including replacing the glass and the bezel and it was about £900. It will need servicing again in ten years time. I think it was about £6000 but still has a good second hand value. A far better investment than a car!

LightDrizzle · 10/12/2020 15:23

10 years in and I still love my Cartier Tank Francaise. I wear it every day and miss it when it’s away being serviced, as now. I’m wearing my previous Raymond Weil Tango which is nice and was less expensive, but the Cartier is my watch forever now.

TheBumbleNums · 10/12/2020 17:24

I have a stunning Tag Carrera with a lovely mother of pearl face. It’s plain but timeless and elegant, but you can have a blinged up version with diamonds all around the face if you wanted a bit more ‘wow’. Goldsmiths do a good range.

Lily193 · 10/12/2020 18:02

Cartier panthere...sooo comfortable and perfect for stacking with other Cartier pieces.

Sanchi · 10/12/2020 19:40

I think the Cartier tank let is beautiful. I would get that. Sadly, my budget only stretches for. £20 Casio but if I could it would be the Cartier tank!
