I'm in a jumpsuit purchased on my shopping with trip with my DM the other day. Thought I needed to be smart as had a meeting this afternoon, but then no one turned their video on. Still, I enjoyed wearing it, it's very comfy. Started the day in Nike running tights and an ancient hoodie as I've started riding a friend's horse a few times a week. It is the loveliest feeling to be back on board again. 😊

Jumpsuit - Great Plains

Worn with some Topshop loafer type shoes when I went to collect DS from nursery.

Great shirt @ememem84 and jumpsuit @toastfiend. Two days ago white stuff dress and Hobbs cardigan. Dress is denim look with multi coloured embroidery rather than black. My bedroom would appear to be a cave. Yesterday gap cardigan and great plains skirt.

Love the new jumpsuit @toastfiend I always forget about Great Plains.

You will all be pleased to hear that DD finally had her blood test yesterday and just to be sure the phlebotomist took samples in each different colour vial she had to make sure it was the right one! So 6 vials in all.

Wearing my new top from a small brand . It reminds me a top the girls had when small which got handed down through lots of families!

Is this dress a keeper? I can't decide I think it's a bit blah the shape is ok we're it goes in but the hem doesn't sit right and colour isn't amazing.

@Sickoffamilydrama I agree with @OublietteBravo you have much nicer dresses. If you aren't sure then stick it in the charity bag! The boots are fab.
@oubliette that seems far too little notice! I don't have an overtly xmas jumper either!

I overslept today which is a blessing really as I've slept very badly for over a week. But it's out me right out!

Just wanted to say thsnk you for this thread - I've just discovered mint velvet thanks to posts on here! Exactly the sort of things I like! I'm mid weight loss (wouldn't have fitted into their range five months ago) but now have to restrain myself from ordering anything, as I've made a pact with myself that the next time I buy clothes will be my reward for getting my BMI out of the obese category hopefully not too long to go, meanwhile doing some virtual window shopping!

I'm wearing craghoppers dark green walking trousers and a George at Asda fluffy light blue jumper over uniqlo heattech thermals (an yuedge walking socks, an obscure find by my dh which are my favourite socks ever comfort wise) today not the most stylish but warm and practical - day off, I've been for a longish walk and its cold and grey here!

Sounds perfect @UntilYourNextHairBrainedScheme! I love this thread. In real life I know nobody as interested in clothes as me! This is a lovely group

Thanks @OublietteBravo & @Sooverthemill in the charity bag it goes sometimes I feel guilty getting rid of things but really when I think of it I bought it to breast feed in not realising the buttons don't undo at the top and the 'baby' is now nearly 5.

Yes they are my new Ecco boots.

Love the Christmas jumper improvisation today Oubliette & the cardi soover wait until you see my sequin dress for our work Xmas event tomorrow that I'll be wearing at home which is sad as it needs to go out and be seen!

On outfit 2 today as had to do a last minute video so needed to look smart on my top half.

It’s my final working day of 2020. Unfinished it tallies with my final day in tier 2. I’m feeling a bit despondent about spending my holiday at home - because it’s not really a change from spending my working day at home. Plus DH has been made redundant, so is likely to be moping about until he finds a new job (financially we’re fine - I’ve been the higher earner for well over a decade). But everything just feels gloomy today. Perhaps my mood is reflecting the weather.

I'm sorry to see you so low @OublietteBravo it has been a sh*t year. Maybe you could encourage DH to volunteer? He must have so many useful skills for charities until he gets another post.

DH has today and Monday then off for 2 weeks. He is owed 7 weeks holiday still for 2020. He is very excited but I think he will be bored and therefore will irritate me! I have a daily routine around DD that rarely changes or can be changed really!

OublietteBravo is it grey, dreary and foggy with you too? I find my mood is really impacted by the weather (both positively and negatively) during times I'm not rushing about (when busy I guess I don't notice as much). Your DH's mood will be infectious too as you're at home together. Can you get out for a walk after work or tomorrow? I've found that really important in recent months and have started doing 5 miles most days - head space time as well as feeling like I've achieved something other than work/ house/ kids stuff.

It is a gloomy day @OublietteBravo, I've been feeling that lately as well it's probably not having the ability to do anything even if you wouldn't normally do much not having the option is weird. Like the red jumper and how it matches your boots. Sorry to hear about your DH.

Had a thought when I could sleep last night that my sparkly dress could be tucked under and go over jeans so here it is.

I actually think doing this means I'll get more wear from it. If anyone knows this brand help me find more of them honestly the sequins never shed and there's loads of them none of those horrible gaps you often get with sequins.

Hopefully you will get a chance to recharge your batteries over the festive season. I agree with walking as therapy. Mindfulness also good. I like Tara brach's podcasts. I think you mentioned before that your husband has adhd @Sooverthemill. My son with adhd is home for the holidays. He's not bored yet fortunately! Jumper seasalt, cords M&S.

Thanks @TheScurrilousFunge it was a random find just spotted it amongst the sale stuff in this little clothes shop. The label says Cotton Club over Googled it and can't find the company online sadly 😔

It's a miserable day, rainy and grey. We had a rather eventful day yesterday with the arrival of two rescue hamsters at short notice ( who need much larger houses) and the little cat Nutmeg in need of an emergency trip to the vet. That and DD being in absolutely dreadful pain made it a tough old day. I realised at 10 pm I hadn't had dinner ( DH had a delivery of unsold food from DS's pop up but it wasn't gluten free). Today I am hoping will be calmer. But somehow I have got two online food deliveries from two different supermarkets arriving. I have clearly been off my game!

I also have still failed to find two sweatshirts which are 'Christmas' and which I really want to wear this week! Any ideas where I could possibly have put them in my not very big room?

Hello! Thanks for all the kind thoughts. I’m feeling much more cheerful today. Probably largely influenced by the sun being out. Plus I’m off work until 4 January now - I definitely need a break (I managed 3 days of annual leave in February, 2 days in May, and 6 days in August - it’s been a busy year).
