Bought an oversized shirt from Ebay it has pockets tried styling it today and think I could have done with a chunky necklace with hot pink in and I should have down one more button up. Oh bit it does have pockets

@Sickoffamilydrama you are a bad influence! I've just bought that in a Prosecco fuelled rage! I never wear cropped tops!

Cosy Sunday ( grey and grim) but I’ve booked a sitter fir an hour this afternoon so we can go in to quickly pick up stocking fillers. I will switch to coated jeans and boots. If DD is up to it

I've already wondered how come I couldn't get the chunky jumper tucked in look without loads of bulk saw a video and it all makes sense it's that some people use a belt and then pull the jumper through just tried it with my hoddy it would work better if it didn't have pockets but you get the idea and even lifting up my arms the belt doesn't show. How can I have got to 40 without knowing this!

Casual day for me if it stops raining we'll go for a walk.

Well we’re now in tier 4 and essentially back in lockdown for the foreseeable future. So it seems like a good day to wear my new velvet joggers.

Lovely outdoors day today and just heading out again to see the Santa Sleigh go through our estate.. going with a flask of mulled wine 😜

Spent most of the day outside today. Met friends for a walk and to exchange Christmas presents, which was nice. I'm enjoying the break from work very much.

Today is definitely a slouchy kind of day. Had very little sleep but it was DHs fault- he had a very mobile night turning and tossing and shouting in his sleep! Every time I nodded off he woke me. Shattered after about 3 hours

Joggers and sweater for me today - DH has very kindly booked me in for a massage and reflexology session at 3pm, a surprise treat.

It's only 9.45 on the first day of DHs 2 weeks holiday and already I'm wanting to kill him! He doesn't know what to do with himself, he's never learned to be bored.

I'm getting my hair done today, very excited as it was in desperate need. It also feels indulgent being able to sit and read for an extended period with no demands on my time!

So, DH was bored and shaved off his beard! He last did that in 1999. No one is happy. He’s surprised it makes him ‘look old’. Oh well now he can add shaving every day to his to do list

I can never find anything but black to wear with this skirt maybe I shouldn't have bought it as it isn't in my usual colour palette. Orange goes nicely but the chunky jumper just doesn't sit right under it, so wearing the yellow.

Normally I’d be all festive at this time of year. Today the best I can manage is a slightly sparkly jumper. I think I prefer working all the way up to Christmas Eve and having the time off in the New Year. Someone remind me next year!
