Thanks so much @OublietteBravo. @Sooverthemill and @Sickoffamilydrama. His Covid test came back negative, so that's good. He still can't go back because they need 48hrs clear after being sent home unwell (despite his temp and overall demeanour being normal since I collected him), but all being well he'll go back tomorrow. Just relieved he's ok. Currently, he's shrieking with delight and dancing to the Gruffalo song, so not much wrong!
Afraid I've not made much of an effort today. Only one meeting and it's informal, so I'm very much in comfy clothes.
Jumper - Urban Outfitters
Dungarees - Run & Fly
I like all your purchases, but LOVE the sparkly Reiss bodysuit in particular, @sickoffamilydrama.
Love your dresses the last 2 days @CaveMum, especially the Conquista one, and your jumpsuit @OublietteBravo.
Your new shirt is lovely, @Sooverthemill. Although I'm so sorry to hear that your DD is so poorly. I cannot imagine how hard it must be for you both. Are you entitled to any other support? I know when my Dad was very sick his private health insurance were able to help with some home nursing care. It was a long time ago, though, so I can't remember all the details, I'm afraid. Have you had any further news on the blood test results? I remember you saying the other day that they'd been delayed.
The dungarees look fab @waterpalava. Sorry, I meant to say the other day, they really suit you.
Being stuck at home isn't good for my bank balance. I'm no awaiting a hush order, a John Lewis order of 2 French Connection shirts, and I'm eyeing up Fairfax & Favor boots. I need to step away from online shopping for a bit, I think! I took on some extra freelance work this month, thinking DS would be at nursery. He's obviously not been, which has added to the stress, but now all I can think of is treating myself with the extra money, which isn't a responsible adult thing to do, but there's not much other fun to be had at the moment!
