@Sickoffamilydrama thank you! Can highly recommend the skirt, I think it's my most favourite item of clothing ever. It's very, very sparkly! It's still on the Anthropologie website, although doesn't seem to have gone into the sale, sadly. It's the Maeve Tatiana skirt if you did want to look at getting it.

No outfits worth posting for me the last few days. I had a migraine a couple of days ago that really wiped me out so I've been in leggings most of the time. Fine again today, but not had one like it in a long time. So, not really an outfit worth posting, but a very scruffy picture of me in dog walking gear, I'm afraid!

Scarf - don't know the brand, it was a Christmas present.

Worn with a tweed Countrywide (ancient) coat and Aigle wellies! I'll try to make more of an effort after my dog walk tomorrow.

Spent most of my sale pennies on DS as he's shot up all of a sudden and practically needs a whole new wardrobe. I did buy some faux leather culottes from Topshop for myself, though. They were only £15 so hopefully they're nice when they arrive. I'm eyeing up an All Saints leather jacket on eBay at the moment, so might invest my Christmas money into that, but I'm a bit worried about sizing. Is it advisable to size up in them or can you stick with your usual size? I've got an All saints dress in a 12, which fits me fine, but I tend to like jackets a little looser.

@toastfiend don't size up, they stretch. Depending on style I would say stick to your own size or even size down (bearing in mind All-saints sizes are a size down anyway, I would be a 12 in their clothes but my cargo jacket is actually an 8, 10 would have been ok as well).

@Sickoffamilydrama look on John Lewis as they have so many brands
@Ellapaella I’m my usual size in all saints clothing but not tried a leather jacket though everyone says size down in leather

It’s bloody freezing here and snow forecast tomorrow which I dread. Trying to keep Christmassy here but not easy with DH driving me mad. He needs to go back to work ( not until Tuesday) as he is just so bored and angry he can’t do anything fun. But DD and I watched Brandi Carlile’s Christmas show yesterday which was lovely , first thing she’s been able to manage.

@excelledyourself - yes! That’s yesterday’s artwork. My colleague is a very patient teacher. I’m actually a bit sad that I missed his first two sessions (he’s based in India, so I can’t always shuffle my work time around to attend). These are my previous two pictures (all done with pastels - I’m slowly getting the hang of blending, but I’m definitely not very good at shadows or mountains).

Sorry everyone - I promise to stop me-railing now and get back to focusing on clothes!

Great work @OublietteBravo you've inspired me to dig out my sketch book I was starting to sketch on my train journey before the apocalypse and I miss doing it.

Tomorrow is a gadget free day for the older two they've literally spent the whole day on them cause we are slummy parents let them have a gadget day. So we could all do some drawing.

It's very frosty here but sadly for DH no snow. Am dressed for warmth ( won't be going further than the garage) and intend to finish my last book of the year and watch MASH with DD who has asked about it. I fear it will be very very sexist and racist but I used to love it. She's an Alan Alda fan after watching him in contemporary stuff. She may be shocked!

Yesterday we finally finished Normal People & I loved Marianne’s style. I think I’d like to replicate that in 2021. I’m on a bit of a spending ban (bought myself some Christmas treats from Cartier) but I’m sure I can squeeze in some mom jeans here & there

Had 3 & other stories bodysuits delivered and I see why a few bloggers have been raving about bodysuits, the last time I wore one I was probably 13 and they've changed since then!

I'm wearing the black one today it has slightly padded shoulders my favourite is the pink which was a bit of a random oh I'll get that too buy.

@Sickoffamilydrama I love bodysuits, they are perfect with high waisted trousers. I have one for “going out” which I wear with leather trousers & it gives such a nice silhouette. I treated myself to a small JUC ring & a JUC necklace. The necklace is plain on one side & has diamonds on the other. I’m very unimaginative as the JUC bracelet is next on my wish list!

I’m in thermal leggings and a jumper dress today. It’s freezing. I wish we had snow @Purplecatshopaholic. My weather app is currently saying a 40% chance of snow in 6 days time - in fact this is currently the default, with the snow moving by 24h every day and never actually arriving.

@Ellapaella thanks so much for the jacket sizing advice. Annoyingly, the seller has taken it down from eBay and I've just seen it on depop advertised at over double the price, so back to the drawing board on that one! I am very tempted, though. I have a bit of Christmas money and have recently sold some old clothes of DS' (he wears lots of Scandi brands, which have a great resale value), so I have a few pennies to play with as DS' wardrobe is overflowing (with some sale bits on the way) so no need to replace the ones I've sold at the moment, so considering just buying one direct from the All Saints website and then if it's not right I can just send it back. Feels like lots of money, though, and I'm also hankering after some Fairfax & Favor Amira boots, so I need to decide which I want to spend on, if any.

We never do much for New Year so today isn't too different from the norm for us, although it would have been nice to have seen my parents or been able to go for a drink with friends. Still, DH is cooking us a special meal, so that'll be fab. Not exactly dressed up, but I have put some make-up on and changed out of dog walking clothes into my new dungarees to mark the occasion! 😂

Boots - DMs, I've been after the Aimilitas for ages and DH surprised me for Christmas with these beauties. I adore them, they are SO comfy!! He did not stick to the spending limit we set, but we were meant to be in Venice just before Christmas (my birthday present), which we sadly had to cancel, so these were my consolation birthday/Christmas gift. I'm still hoping we might get to Venice in 2021, though!

Welcome @CaveMum just saw one of you other posts I'm planning on an overhaul as well been feeling lost since child number 3 so taking these photos every day and posting helps me do a little self care.

Great boots @toastfiend nice that DH treated you. I've seen a chunk of money go out of the bank account for my birthday in a few days so wondering what I've got.

Yes keeping them all and might even buy some more always hated having a gap between my knickers and my top particularly in the winter I hate a cold back so they solve that problem and smooth me out. I might even try some Yoga too!
