Love today's eyeshadow!

Really love it & just what I needed to open today to add some Xmas cheer! It has survived a dog walk & being caught in a shower & I am now glamming it up at home

I used the Aveda damage repair today and it's been fantastic on my hair @Chlordiazepoxide
I am curly, tried the CG method over summer but as I also love my hair appliances, I didn't stick with it.
Sometimes I think hair benefits from a bit of silicone to protect it from heat. (Don't tell the CG community on me 😉)
Mine is also bleached mid length to ends ( brunette balayages) and bleaching has killed the natural curl a bit.
I will definitely Re purchase the aveda. Not tried it on refreshing the curls yet but will do tomorrow.

I've not tried the M&G yet. Can you use it on hair too?

Love today's hourglass! I've been after one of these so am very happy. At first I thought it was the loose powder that was in last years ( which I was saving for travel..... so it's still unopened )

I love today’s eye glitter. Mine is definitely pink, it’s in the shade Aura if that makes a difference.

I’ve been using the m&g on my nose, cheeks and chin before I put a mask on for work. I think it’s leaving less red marks.

I was wondering if all the eye shadows were the same or different shades - mine is champagne

This was one of the products that made me go for Liberty over Cult Beauty in the end. I really like Hourglass but hadn’t tried their eye shadows before. Are they very glittery or ok for everyday?

For those asking about Hourglass, their ambient lighting powders are amazing, the blushers are nice too!

I agree, definitely creamier than VBB. VBB very pigmented which is great, but coarser

Mine is Smoke. I hadn't even thought they might be different shades.

@chloechloe if you want to use it for everyday wear you could use less so it's more shear or you could add it to the middle of your usual eye shadow to give it a little oomph.

Thanks for the tip polpette. I have Aura, the pink shade. I’ve just tried it on my hand and it’s super sparkly even when lightly applied and blended out. I think I will indeed just add a small dab over normal eyeshadow.

For anyone who loves the Hourglass shades and wants to get another one, they do a fantastic set of three smaller scattered light shadows. I bought it last year and I love it. There's a plum, a taupe and a gold in it.

I have aura too - I’d have preferred smoke. I’ll see if anyone wants to swap. It does look lovely but pink doesn’t really suit my skin tone.

That's interesting I assumed everyone had the same - I've got smoke which I'm really happy with lovely bronzey brown - off to investigate other shades online!!!!

I’ve got smoke as well and am delighted. I have blue eyes and the bronzey colour is fab.
My over excited 3yo opened tomorrow’s drawer on the 12th so I know what’s inside and am soooo looking forward to it. 😆

I've been browsing the Hourglass site, I've got my eye on the green Vivid shade. I might wait and see if they have any discount offers.
