Hello Look Fantastic calendar openers! Post as you open each day and we'll discuss our thoughts. No spoilers please.
As said on other calendar opening threads, think it is fair to say you can post about the current day from 7am so people know to avoid the thread after that time if they haven’t opened yet.

I'm going to stay with DP this weekend and I was just planning to open them all when I get back, but for purposes of this thread I've decided I'll just have to open them all tomorrow instead otherwise I would have to avoid this thread all weekend!

I want to know what you got now @MissMatty2hats!

Black eyeliner. Yawn. At least they got it out the way early on.

I really do seem to be the only one happy with today's! It's one of my favourite windows so far. The Eve Lom cleansing balm was The Yawn item for me.

A return to form today! This Rituals scent, rice and cherry blossom, is my favourite one. Had a tube of this that's nearly run out so I'm very pleased to get more.

I opened this by accident yesterday. I think it's a nice product and good size.

Big tray and sizeable item today! I don't have a lot of scrubs so I'm pleased.

This is a lovely item although I already have lots of scrubs which never get used. I had the Rituals AC last year and this is a really lovely scent.

Yesterday I used quite a few of the makeup items. The brush works really well with the blusher I find, especially as the pan is quite a small size. I really like the blusher - it’s a really pretty colour, and is easy to apply as it’s not as pigmented as, say, Nars or MAC. I also tried the eye shadow which is lovely. It dries quite fast so there is not much time to blend. But I applied it straight to the lid without any primer and it stayed crease and smudge free all day long. Great stuff! The colour is pretty suit all, although I think it would look best on green eyed girls. I have brown eyes but will no doubt use this as a quick daily go to product. Very happy!

Haven't commented yet but I've been pleasantly surprised by the contents so far. My favourite being the blusher and brush. Really happy with today's, I already have the large size of this and for those that are unsure of fake tan believe me one or 2 applications give such a healthy glow, kind of like you have primed your natural skin! I also like how is feels on my skin and doesn't sit in pores.

I don't use tan so this one doesn't excite me at all

I'm unsure about this one, might give it a try but my attempts at tanning have a tendency to go wrong!

Ooh I like today’s. And it smells amazing.

Am nervous, I’m quite pale so I always fear orangeyness and if looking weird over my freckles - could someone who tries it report back?

Is today's for face or body or both?

The normal Tan Luxe drops can be used for face or body, but given that this includes hylaronic acid I would save it for your face.

I would definitely recommend that even the fake tan averse among you try this - I have only used the regular Tan Luxe drops but I’m sure these will have a similar result. The beauty is that you can build it up day by day so it really is fool proof. If you use a small amount it just gives you a hint of colour which gives you a healthy glow rather than looking tanned.

I often gift friends with newborns the Clarins drops which are similar - they are super speedy to use when you have zero time and make you look healthy even when sleep deprived!

Soooo. I’m crap at beauty stuff but want to get better hence buying the calendar. I’ve just opened the Eve Lom cleanser. Is it supposed to look like this? And it’s quite firm. That’s my finger print in the top? I kind of assumed it would be a proper cream.

I'm also crap but mine looks the same so I assume it's supposed to look like that!

Yes it looks quite unappetizing. It’s quite thick but melts when it warms up and is massaged onto the skin.

Lars there is a video here which might help but you basically just massage it on. I would try 2 drops on the face and 2 on your neck down to the collarbone the first time and see how you get on. If it’s too subtle you can apply the next day to build the colour, possibly adding a couple more drops.
