Hello Look Fantastic calendar openers! Post as you open each day and we'll discuss our thoughts. No spoilers please.
As said on other calendar opening threads, think it is fair to say you can post about the current day from 7am so people know to avoid the thread after that time if they haven’t opened yet.

@AlwaysOnAbloodyDiet

Woohoo, excellent news Ochon

The Elemis night cream is my favourite so far, skin feels fab.

Mine too! I was half hoping it wouldn't be any good as I could never afford to buy it again but my skin feels incredible today!!
Directionerforever · 15/12/2020 20:31

I’ve used the serum and the night cream tonight and I feel like I’m glowing Grin

I’m not. But my skin does feel lovely.

AliceinBunniland · 15/12/2020 20:39

Mascaras are a bit like black eyeliners. I expect there is one in there!

I need one too but I got the Soap & Glory star gift and there is one in there.

LarsErickssong · 15/12/2020 20:54

I need a new mascara too and thought there's probably one in the calendar, so I asked DP to double check the contents online for me and if he didn't see one mentioned then he could get me one for Xmas, so hopefully I will get one either way Grin

Butterymuffin · 16/12/2020 08:35

This looks interesting! I saw that people got this in another calendar recently and were very pleased. Looking forward to trying it. I've got millions of tubes of the this works camera ready mask & primer (who hasn't?) but this is a change and anything promoting good sleep is welcome.

A nice big tube so thumbs up from me as I like this brand.

I actually have lots of small mascaras from various GWPs so would prefer something different!

AliceinBunniland · 16/12/2020 09:04

I'm pleased with today's

I've had it before from another calendar (M&S last year? Not sure) but I like it and it's a good size

OchonAgusOchonO · 16/12/2020 09:13

This smells lovely. I never put body lotion on before bed, just hand cream. I'll have to start extending up my arms at least.

SomethingAboutNothing · 16/12/2020 09:38

Happy with this one, already use the sleep spray on my son's pillow at night and find it really does help him get to sleep (sometimes 🙄).

I'll be trying this myself tonight.

LarsErickssong · 16/12/2020 13:11

I just bought mini sleep spray to try as it was on offer with the Christmas gifts at Waitrose when I went in at the weekend, seems good so far so looking forward to trying the cream.
I tried the Vit C serum last night and it hasn't irritated my skin (well it's not dry or itchy at all) but I have woken up with a few spots, so I think I'll put it to one side and try again after Xmas as I can't be sure the spots are from that but don't want to risk carrying on using it and ending up with loads of spots over Xmas!

Directionerforever · 16/12/2020 21:20

I’ve just slathered myself in all of the various potions but today’s overpowers them all. I’m not a huge lavender fan so not sure it’s for me.

SomethingAboutNothing · 17/12/2020 07:55

Very intrigued by todays product, I am prone to breakouts so this is definitely one I'll be making use of.

LarsErickssong · 17/12/2020 08:00

I had to google to find out what it actually was Blush but the reviews on Cult beauty are very promising! I used the tan drops last night and there's no noticeable difference yet (only used 2) so I'm going to use another 2 this morning, my skin feels lovely though.

OchonAgusOchonO · 17/12/2020 08:07

@LarsErickssong - me too Xmas Smile

Sounds pretty impressive. Mine was wrapped in bubble wrap and then tissue so was well protected.

SomethingAboutNothing · 17/12/2020 08:09

Haha same Lars my husband suggested it was something to do with silverskin onions Hmm.

I haven't found the tanning drops have tanned me at all but I wondered if I was just stripping it off with the REN tonic each evening. It leaves my skin feeling nice though so I'll keep using it.

Butterymuffin · 17/12/2020 08:25

Absolutely thrilled with this! - though I too @LarsErickssong had to Google. Great brand and definitely something I want to try with my oily skin which can break out. Very happy and will be trying it out later.

From CB:

A jewel in this brand’s ever-growing skin care crown, this Silver Skin Saviour is the perfect treatment for blemish-prone skin. A targeted mask that harnesses the power of antibacterial and skin-healing colloidal silver, blemish-busting niacinamide, as well as pore-purging salicylic and glycolic acid, this reveals clearer, smoother and healthier skin – sans spots.

Apply a generous amount to face and neck (avoiding the eye area). On your first use, leave the product on for 5 minutes, then increase to 10-15 minutes for subsequent use, depending on skin sensitivity. To remove, rinse thoroughly with a damp facial mitt or hand towel.

Suggested usage is once per week.

MysweetAudrina · 17/12/2020 09:57

Thanks for the instructions @AliceinBunniland as I had no idea what it was or how to use it but sounds promising.

Floozymum · 17/12/2020 14:54

I thought today's was like a multi-use balm! I wondered why it made my lips all white looking Grin

Thanks for the info. Smells lovely though!

AliceinBunniland · 17/12/2020 15:06

@Floozymum Grin

It would make sense for it to be in a little box or something with instructions!

MissMatty2hats · 17/12/2020 19:57

And I got my black eyeliner today!

OchonAgusOchonO · 18/12/2020 08:32

Sleek primer today. Haven't used this before but I have used some of their highlighter palettes and really like them so I'm looking forward to trying this.

LarsErickssong · 18/12/2020 08:49

I'm happy with today's as I'm just running out of primer! I find sleek products really good for their price especially as Ochon says the highlighter palettes.
I used another 2 drops of the super glow yesterday and my face has a lovely colour, for anyone else who was dubious to try them I really recommend giving them a go it was super easy.
Also used yesterday's face mask last night and the 5 huge spots I got from using the Vit C serum on Tuesday have completely gone I'm impressed!

AliceinBunniland · 18/12/2020 09:06

I'm not excited about today's brand but if I were to buy a primer it would be a hydrating one so I will probably give it a go

Did the vit c thing make you get spots @LarsErickssong? I haven't tried it but my skin is a bit sensitive

SomethingAboutNothing · 18/12/2020 09:24

Did you get the hydrating one Alice? I got mattifying which is what I would go for if buying one so I'm happy.

The face mask seems to have worked wonders on some breakout I had too, I'm really impressed with it.
