Does anyone have an really good lip balm recommendations? My lips are really dry, I found some Vaseline in my draw so using that at the moment.

Carmex in the yellow pot for the day.

Elizabeth Arden 8 hour cream for over night - not cheap but lasts ages.

TheShapeJaper · 07/11/2020 21:54

Lanolips - the original one

Inthesameboatatmo · 07/11/2020 21:57

Nivea lip butter, burts bees lip butter ,the waitrose pure one is good too

adagio · 07/11/2020 21:59

Carmex yellow pot, or in my opinion blistex medplus in a blue pot is even better. Both available in boots.

userxx · 07/11/2020 22:00

Mine are really dry and it's not even that cold out there.

WellTidy · 07/11/2020 22:01

Aquaphor is head and shoulders above anything I’ve ever tried. Cheap as chips (about £3-4) on amazon and it really really works.

My Sil swears by pawpaw and gave me a tube, but I have yet to try it.

Lansinol (sp?) nipple cream. I have a small tube which lasts ages and heals over night. Obviously it’s for cracked nipples but same principle. Discovered it worked when breast feeding twins.

Aloe lips. By the Forever Living aloe company. Available on Amazon. Best lipsalve ever.

Pukeymama · 07/11/2020 22:07

Glossier Balm Dotcom, a little pricey for a lip balm but amazing, really thick and one application lasts so long. They also do different tints and scents if you're into that. I love mine.

NorthDowns · 07/11/2020 22:10

Khiels no question, it is fabulous, doesn’t leave your lips feeling like they need more & more applications.

Eeyorehoney · 07/11/2020 22:24

Honestly, I have to swap brands every year or so as I have such dry lips in winter, I find they’re all the same: work really well, then my lips ‘get used to’ that brand and it stops working so I have to switch. My faves so far have been palmers and the brown Vaseline one

EatPrayYoga · 07/11/2020 22:26

Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour Cream

frugalkitty · 07/11/2020 22:28

Blistex in the tube, fab stuff.

FamilyOfAliens · 07/11/2020 22:28

Burt’s Bees any flavour but the honey one is delicious.

remaininlight · 07/11/2020 22:31

Avene

SnapeSnapeSeverusSnape · 07/11/2020 22:33

Agree with Lansinoh, really works.

Blistex, the intensive one in tube and the other one in blue tub is also good.

wizzywig · 07/11/2020 22:42

Carmex and lipstick during the day

Macaroni46 · 07/11/2020 22:52

Another vote for Carmex. Nothing else comes close.

Schoolchoicesucks · 07/11/2020 22:58

Burts bees - the yellow one. I have a tube in every bag. Love that it tingles slightly.

shuttheblinds · 07/11/2020 22:59

I love the Eve Lom one, it lasts ages and is so good. I have converted all my friends who also love it.
