Sorry @SunshineCake - I'd already posted spoilers, and tbh I agree that I wouldn't see a box collection as needing to be kept a surprise in the same way as an advent calendar - but that said, I wouldn't intend to mess up anyone's experience and I don't think anyone here would intend that either. It is just a case of different perspectives.

Would you be able to avoid posts about the GWPs *@SunshineCake*? I don't think anyone wants to spoil it for you but I also think it's different to "spoiling" an advent calendar, unless we all agree to only discuss advent calendars here but that would be a shame!

Anyone who has got their LF advent calendar, did you get a text from Royal Mail? I just got one saying my international package will be delivered on Thursday and I wonder if it's that or my velvetiser...

@SunshineCake No need to go. I wasn’t telling you off. I was sharing my opinion and pointing out that a protocol had already been established on the thread to share contents of beauty edit boxes/GWPs. The contents of the M&S box had been shared before you even posted. Of course I wouldn’t want to spoil the experience for anyone.

I now feel you told me off passively aggressively, but no worries, beauty advent calendars are my thing so I’m going nowhere

I also picked up the cult beauty GWP, I've already got the LF calendar and couldn't really justify another fancy calendar as none of them had quite enough items in which I'd buy in their own right. Pleased with the GWP as I got to buy three things (Laura Mercier set, Le Labo candles and sol de Janeiro set) that I genuinely wanted plus get the freebies for fun. The green palette swayed me as will suit my complexion well I think I might open it alongside my LF calendar as there are 25 items.

Glad to see there’s a few of us that like that green palette i might be getting the CB GWP after all, but am wondering whether to hold out for one by Space NK.

I had a beauty bundle arrive today that I highly recommend. I saw it on an email by Really Ree. It’s a mask collection by Selfridges. £60 for 16 masks. Apparently worth £155. I haven’t checked but it works out at £3.75 per mask which is really good value. And the box file they’re in is great and can be reused. Recommend.

I managed to resist the Cult Beauty GWP. Which is a shame in a way, as I'd planned to get it as an alternative to the advent calendar, but in the end it was just too many face masks and make-up, which doesn't float my boat as much (and definitely not when the palette is green!).

Still holding out for another pre-Christmas treat though - maybe the Space NK GWP?

For those who have been restrained in not getting the CB GWP, they usually have another good one in the new year. I might use it to get a few items that I like the look of in some of the calendars, although I really really do not need any more products!

I read through the Cult Beauty and Space Nk GWPS and it's a pass for me. I just don't need anything, I am really happy with my stash right now and I read through the content of the advent calendars I purchased and between that and the few hauls to get previous GWPs and the 15 off 45 discount I have to admit I really do not need anything

If the spend was not that high and I was more interested in the products I would go for hair products but not for 180 or 250

I agree, £250 for the Space NK gift is just too much for me - the contents looks good, but I'm going to struggle to spend that much without buying enough products to last me until this time next year!

So I'll just stick with my advent calendar, work my way through my stash, and as chloechloe says, use it as an opportunity to try some new products so that I've got a shopping list for next year!

I got a free Lumene moisturiser when I ordered the Lumene AC from feelunique. I just started using it. It smells so gorgeous. I'm really looking forward to the Lumene one now.

I got the space NK GWP. Thats 2 advent calendars and 3 big GWPs. I'm easily led and I blame you lot

DP says my LF has arrived  so it went from the Royal Mail not having it, to delivered in under 24 hours @EatPrayYoga hopefully yours isn't far behind!

I just looked at the GWP purchase- it looks very tempting.

If anyone is considering the ByTerry advent calendar on their own site, you can get 20% off right now with GLOW20. I'm resisting a the moment, but their products do look quite nice. Wouldn't mind trying some of them.

In preparation for a Space NK GWP hopefully coming, I went on the site last night and chose products that I've wanted for a while. One of them is very expensive (but worth it) so I got to way over £250 quickly.

Was therefore very happy when the GWP actually happened today, talk about spidey senses. As I was way, way over £250 including Christmas presents, I split my purchases so I spent £250 at Space NK and £180 at Cult Beauty, and so qualified for both GWPs.

This is me absolutely done though for not just this year but also next as well. I've already got several advent calendars.

I should add that the things I bought are things I need and am restocking or have wanted for a while. Nails & hair stuff as well as make up and skin care, and things for people for Christmas.

Very indulgent but I'm really not buying anything else except cleanser & deodorant until October 2021. There, I've put that in writing and will be committing to it.
