The hunt continues! We await Black Friday developments.

I'm hoping they'll move those discounts online since stores have to close tonight for 4 weeks...

Boots had also reductions on their advent calendars. I didn't get any because I have enough but I was curious to see if there was reductions. Debenhams had their chocolate calendars 30% off.

Yes Black Friday will be a big deal I think, I already have 2 but just bought a wax melt advent! Anything to brighten up what I think is likely to still be lock down

Has anyone started opening their Liberty calendar? I've got it for November, a slow, every few days, opening a drawer to give a chance to try each product uniquely. So far, I've reached day 3 and have had 3 sample sized products. What a joke that it's advertised full size. Feels like freebie sizes.

Has anyone tried Grace Cole products? There is an advent calendar for about £30 bit I'm not sure how nice the products are

Just delurking to say the Rituals one is lovely so far - decent size products and some nice things. I won’t say what in case other people have the calendar and are saving it for actual Advent!

@EatPrayYoga I think I had a grace Cole candle a while ago & wasn't dying about it.

There's a great deal on neom candles atm on qvc if you get a £10 off referral from the Christmas referrals thread. It works out at 3 for more or less the price of 1-total bargain

The Neom deal sounds good. QVC has some really good deals. I got four Molton Brown hand soaps for about £40 when they are usually about £20 each.

I bought DH the degustobox advent calendar, I've warned him it might be full of weird junk food crap but he seemed quite pleased by that.

The degustobox was £35 and they don't tell you what's in it. He's genuinely excited which is rather sweet as he usually finds my advent obsession a bit baffling.

That’s a good idea. No, don’t want to spoil it on anyone. I imagine it’s the same as previous years re sizes, this is my first Liberty calendar. Think I’ve been spoilt by FabFitFun though!

I’m going to be strong and resist the Neom offer, though it looks better value than my final in shop purchase (a candle less 20% at HoF). Rather glad I don’t live near a John Lewis, as I would have been sorely tempted by the Molton Brown calendar at 30% off.

I opened the first draw of my first calendar today, happy with item no. 1.

I'm justifying it on the grounds that I can use a presents, completely ignoring the fact that I've already bought presents for anyone who would like one.

@OchonAgusOchonO I have multiple excess presents too. I’m possibly slightly out of control.

I'm a complete oddity on Mumsnet in that I like Yankee Candles better than Neom. In fact, my favourite candle of all time is the Home Essence Cedar and Bergamot at around a fiver. it is so fresh and gorgeous.

I was gifted a neom set a couple of years ago and I'm now a complete convert. I tried a candle from liberty last year, purchased as a treat (Scandinavian brand) and it had pretty much no aroma, also prefer to true grace. I do like diptyque, but think Neom smells more spa like.

@TeatimeAtCloppa I like Yankee candles as well. Not sure what my favourite is but pink sands and fresh cut roses are nice.
