The hunt continues! We await Black Friday developments.

Is anyone else planning to open Look Fantastic (assuming they arrive!) or Holland & Barrett after Christmas or in Jan? I can't decide when to open mine. One from December obviously, not sure about the other.

BTW I bought DH a Haribo calendar from TK Maxx today

I might open LF in January, if I can wait that long. I’ll be opening Liberty in December as my big treat!

Then again I guess there will be a good LF opening thread in December in which case it would be a shame to miss it.

I was feeling a bit bad about having 3 ACs, but seeing as another lockdown is starting on Monday where I live perhaps it’s not a bad thing that I now have a huge stash!

I’m definitely opening my LF in December. I’ve already opened my Liberty one but will join in with a Liberty thread if there is one.

I'm also opening LF in December. It will be Birchbox in Jan for me.

@MiaN just going back to the SkinStore one...it arrived no problems at all. The delivery was completely free. I am contemplating buying another for a very dear friend of mine.

See I can't decide about which to open when! I don't think I should open both at the same time as I'd like to stretch out the enjoyment a bit but I do like the threads. Then again if a few of us open LF or HB in Jan or after Christmas then we can have our own threads!

Lol EatPrayYoga I feel the same. The threads are almost as much fun as opening the calendar. I look forward to the threads every year.

I think it just came from England Mia (I'm in NI). It took about four days. They included a cute little gift bag of samples/deluxe sizes and also threw in a 10ml serum, just loose in the box.

awesome. I am not going to mention the exact product but there is one that I LOVE and it's full size!

I'm really excited about it as the products look brilliant. Have to try to forget what's in it now. It also has Cosmetopia's seal of approval which is pretty unusual!😂

Teatime Yes I agree. The threads being a social aspect to the calendars foo. I know my DH won't get it if I say "ooh look a neom candle!!" (this is a random product and not a spoiler!) but then again if I opened one in Jan I'd probably read the threads then and jisy wouldn't be able to contribute!

It seems like a lot of people got the H&B or LF so I thought someone might open in Jan

Yes, my DH would think I was mad getting excited about a Neom candle but I would, and people on the threads would get that...I love reading their opinions. I open the box then come straight onto the thread to see what everyone thinks.

I might open my HB one in January if other people do that. I think the products in it will probably be useful, year round items whereas I anticipate calendars like LF will have a few items to go with the dazzle of the Christmas season.

I think that makes great sense. I’ve opened my H&B already as I had to because of missing item, but am up for a H&B Jadvent.

Did everyone have a certain item missing in H&B or am I mixing that up with something else? Mine looks intact but I haven't checked it.

One item slipped out of its slot and moved out to another. I got H&B for dd and checked. I took the tray out and just moved it back to the correct place. I think it was day 11.

Have to confess that I’ve opened my H&B already, enabled (😂) by reports on here of a missing item. I had that particular item, but something else was missing from mine (I won’t say what, but will be interested to see if others have the same issue when they open theirs). I contacted H&B and after a long delay they finally came back and said that they couldn’t replace the item but would refund 10% of the cost of the calendar. Now awaiting the refund..........

Further confession - I just might have bought a few more things (primarily gifts) to get the CB GWP 😊.
Yet another confession - I just might have indulged in a couple of diptyque mini candle sets (again for gifts) to take advantage of the offer of a free diptyque eau rose solid perfume (rrp £40) and Liberty makeup bag (rrp £38). I had £20 in points on my Liberty account so the total haul came to £100, for £198 worth of goodies 😊. I just can’t resist a bargain 😂

I’m opening LF in December, as I imagine there’ll be a thread.

I’ve already opened and started using my Elemis one. Enjoying using them but haven’t discoverd any new wonder products yet.

I’ll save my Lumene one till January.

Still tempted by the velvetiser!

I am going around in circles with LF. On Tuesday, they told me, via Twitter, that they had asked the warehouse to get a move on. I asked for an update yesterday via the same dm thread we have been using, as there was no progress. They have now come back and said due to the length of time, they need the identifying information (name, address etc) again! The reason the length of time has passed is because they are not doing anything!

I will never buy anything from them again. The customer service is appalling.

foilflower I really like the velvetiser. I had a hot choc yesterday morning and evening and now wondering if it's too soon to have another My set came with lattes as well so I might try one of those with some chocolates late in. It does something I couldn't do myself but look out for a deal as HC does 20% off etc.

@EatPrayYoga - sounds like you're getting value for money out of the velvitiser already
