How many coats do we think she has?

Sofia looks fab!

MaudTheInvincible · 18/12/2020 10:07

Ah she's lovely, and looks very well. Think I can see the outlines of some maternity tights on her bump. I couldn't wear anything under my bumps, had to have the belly-warmer versions. I like the colours of her coat, it's nice and festive.

CarrotVan · 18/12/2020 12:48

I’d like to see Charlene wearing a tiara with it. I think it could work. Or maybe some sort of jewelled mesh

CarrotVan · 18/12/2020 13:00

Or something like this amazing hair comb that the Empress Eugenie owned

Yes, Carrot that would look fabulous on the side of Charlene's hair. That is a stunning piece.

That hair comb!

Eaumyword · 18/12/2020 16:31

Yes, the hair comb! ♥️

StartupRepair · 18/12/2020 19:39

Wonder what lucky family or museum has that hair comb?

frugalkitty · 19/12/2020 07:13

Poor Charlene, Albert is facing a court case about a third illegitimate child (conceived while he and Charlene were dating), possibly the one about whom rumours were circulating around the time of their marriage. According to the mail, sorry, the deal struck was that once she provided Albert with a legitimate heir she would be free to leave. Presumably without the children though (Princess Grace had to also agree that her children were Rainier's should they split) so she's very much stuck in between a rock and a hard place.

MotherofPearl · 19/12/2020 08:20

Poor her indeed frugal. She really is trapped as you say. I wonder what will happen when the twins are adults?

Lovely new photo of CPM. I probably prefer her in the warmer berry colours as she really suits them, but she does look great here too.

Bloomin eck, Albert, keep it zipped!
Poor Charlene. The twins are absolutely gorgeous, so I'm sure they get joy from their children and being parents. Who knows about their marriage.

Poor woman. It’s incomprehensible that here we are in 2020 casually discussing a woman in this position 😢

Maireas · 19/12/2020 09:05

Love CPM's hair and outfit. It's always a similar look to Kate and Marie, I think, but very elegant.

I am no fan of an undercut but Charlene's eyes are stunning with the short fringe.

anomletteandaglassofwine · 19/12/2020 11:21

I just came across this photo of Princess Anne, amazing dress and hair!

Sooverthemill · 19/12/2020 15:29

@anomletteandaglassofwine I always thought Anne dressed beautifully in the 70s and had great hair dos!

MotherofPearl · 19/12/2020 15:34

Had great hair dos? I don't think PA's hair dos have changed much since the 70s! Grin

AppleKatie · 19/12/2020 16:03

I don’t think she’s quite got that volume now!

Sooverthemill · 19/12/2020 16:15

@MotherofPearl exactly. When I was a child she seemed to me to be awesomely dressed and had fab hair. She's not changed one jot. I no longer want to look like her

TracyBeakerSoYeah · 19/12/2020 18:50

Anne is beautiful!

I'm feeling quite angry on Charlene's behalf! Albert is a bloody idiot.
Obviously it's entirely up to Charlene but she should LTB. It's 2020 & no court would dare keep the children away from their DM just because they happen to be royal.
Those arcane rules went out the window when Diana & Charles divorced as they had the children 50/50.

MadameMiggeldy · 19/12/2020 22:50

I thought all British royal children were in the custody of HRM?

AdaColeman · 19/12/2020 23:36

When Charlene was married in 2011, she wasn't a giggling teenager, she was in her mid thirties, she'd known Albert for over ten years, and they'd been partners for at least five years.
So she'd had plenty of time to discover his history, find out if she fitted in to royal life etc etc. It wasn't a whirlwind romance like Harry & Meg.
Charlene is living the life she chose. While there may be parts of it that she finds restrictive, that is so though in different ways, for millions of people.

LadyEloise · 20/12/2020 08:57

Charlene knew her new hair style would draw attention, shine a media light on herself, Albert etc
Just as news of another paternity case involving Albert breaks. 🤔

Sooverthemill · 20/12/2020 09:01

@MadameMiggeldy

I thought all British royal children were in the custody of HRM?
Technically yes. Charlene isn't British, were you referring to her?

I’m quoting Tracy here - The Queen is actually in a very powerful position when it comes to the custody of those in line to the throne. A court might do just that - follow whatever the legal protocol is. Aware that Charlene is SA/Monagasque so rules might be different if she and the serial shagger PA were to separate
