Great outfit @Gotheeunicorns and thanks for joining us. Yes I am thrilled with my boots and I think they feel a little bit more comfy than the cherry red ones were when I first got them.

Ooh @Ellapaella and @Gotheeunicorns I've got those boots too - I've also got them in cherry red. I've had so much wear out of them and they were comfy right from the start - softer than other DMs

Had a really useful unexpected phone call from GP yesterday and I feel cared for with a next stages plan.

I’m in bargain cashmere today - I got the jumper in the Jigsaw sale for £45 (reduced from £150).

Isn’t it funny how your perception of a garment changes over time? Last autumn/winter this was definitely my favourite skirt. This year I’m not nearly as keen on it - short skirts really aren’t a 2020 thing somehow.

On a bit of a mission to wear everything that still has tags on in my wardrobe this month so wearing a jersey dress I bought in the summer. Was super cheap so quite pleased with how versatile it is. Feel a bit overdressed for a day at home but I'm very comfortable!

@Ellapaella, I LOVE those boots! I've had my eye on the Aimilitas for ages. I didn't realise they were in the sale... Really tempted now. DH and I were meant to be going to Venice just before Christmas but it's been cancelled now, sadly, and I'm wondering if I can justify spending a little bit of the refund on the red ones...

Dug out an old skirt of my Mum's today. I think she had it before I was born, so it's over 30 years old now. I've always loved it but didn't think I'd get the wear out of it when she gave it to me, but I'm actually really pleased with it. If I remember rightly she had a strawberry jacket thing to go with it, too. I don't have that, though, so it's styled rather differently to how it used to be! 😂

Morning all!

Ella and others, I spent an inordinate amount of time on the Doc Marten’s website last night playing “which pair of boots do I like best?”! I haven’t quite decided whether I should spend £125-150 on boots, given that I have 3 pairs of nice flat ankle boots as it is. Also, I’d really like to go and look at them in person - I could theoretically go into the Edinburgh shop. I think we’re still allowed to do that!

I'm am having a rubbish day... been told by work (I'm a nurse specialist) that I am getting redeployed again. No idea where and could very well be a Covid ward 😥 i just can't believe this is happening again.

I definitely do not need any boots or anything. The first thing, when we can visit shops and try on, I would like is some jeans that fit really well and make me feel ace. I can not be bothered with all of the returns.

It’s dawned on me today that I need to think about Christmas shopping and doing it online. Feel so sorry for our delivery drivers. They are going to be so so busy.

@Ellapaella you'd convinced me, but I've just been on their website and they're back up to full price! Shouldn't have dithered yesterday! Ah well, I'll hold off for a bit and see if they're reduced again for Black Friday or anything. Sorry to hear about your work worries. I cannot imagine what it must be like to be front line NHS at present. I hope you're not redeployed to a Covid ward, but I appreciate anywhere must be especially stressful at the moment. Particularly with the extra upheaval of being redeployed.

Good morning. It’s frosty today for the first time this autumn. I’m already wondering if I should’ve worn a thicker jumper.

Frosty here too @OublietteBravo according to DH after early dog walk. But it's not 'cold' here yet.

I'm feeling so much better. I've stopped eating wheat on GP's advice and I cannot believe how much better I feel. Could be a coincidence of course.

I spent half an hour this morning trying various tops and shoes with these jeans which I bought early this year and haven't yet worn. They are very high waist and so comfortable so I want to wear them lots. They should be cropped but they are the perfect full length on me. Most wide legs are too long. I reckon I have 5 sweatshirt/ jumpers that will go ( I think it needs a cropped top) and some fitted tops/ shirts too. Plus at least three pairs of trainers that look good. I'm trying to do this with each 'bottoms' that I have to make sure I wear them. And getting rid of stuff that I can't make at least 3 outfits with

Boring outfit today, I've no meetings and just a webinar today where we've actually been instructed to keep our cameras and mics off, woo!
Jumper: Oasis, very old and I don't think I've worn it for about 2 years. I think its going in the charity bag after today as it just doesn't really go with anything
Trousers: Monki (with tights underneath - I think someone here suggested that for light trousers on colder days and its so toasty!)

Glad you are feeling better @Sooverthemill - my sister is gluten and wheat intolerant, it took her years to discover what was making her feel so bad.
Today I'm wearing summer jeans (Levi's) with new Docs and my sparkly Allsaints jumper. The weather is beautiful today so making the most of it and doing both dog walks while DH does home school with DS3, I definitely got the better deal
