Talking about Kiehl's I just received a nice 7ml jar of their face cream. I think I ordered it through Facebook.

I'm assuming the date on mine hasn't changed as they did say it would take time to dispatch all the calendars.

I preordered the Lookfantastic calendar, it said order placed then moved to processing, back to order placed, then processing, now it’s order placed. I received an email Tuesday morning that apologised for the delay and that it would be dispatched within 48 hours, it hasn’t been I’m hoping it turns up. I usually get the M&S one but thought I’d give this one a try.

I emailed LF to see what was happening and got this:

Our calendars are due to get dispatched nearer the end of the month. We've not yet had any updates from our couriers, but as soon as we do we'll be in touch.

We are doing our best to get them sent over to everyone in time for the Christmas season!

And you ordered yours after me. There doesn't seem to be any logic to it.

Mine’s back on Order Placed and the bar has gone backwards so the order status means nothing. Bit annoyed that I ordered in September and they’re sending out more recent orders first. I’d had the e-mail saying they expected to dispatch within 48 hrs on Tuesday - so that hasn’t happened. I don’t mind as long as I get it - but I’m expecting deliveries to go downhill again in the future so I hope it gets sent out soon.

I’ve ordered LF from an EU site and that’s obviously in a backlog too. Liberty is however patiently sitting under my home office desk. I’ve figured I’ll pop it on my desk in December and hopefully the kids won’t notice it there.

You naughty enablers are making me wonder if I could justify another with a Black Friday offer - I can’t believe Harrods went half price in the past!

I can’t believe Harrods went half price in the past!

It was literally for half a day or something stupid!

I got response from Liberty yesterday. They are sending one so fingers crossed this time it works!

I ordered one with my September birthday gift vouchers/points - Space NK. One DH is buying me and I bought the Cult beauty myself. Complete overindulgence for sure, I used to get Space NK & M&S and maybe something around black Friday but this year I went all out.

3 days ago I decided I am going to open a box/day each evening instead of treating myself with chocolate and only if I have been sensible with my eating. :) . It has been such crazy year and I am not going to go into it on happy advent discussion but it's great to come here and escape from the news!

I also noted this year I spend nothing until end of Augusts on beauty apart from hair & bath & body products. I am going to hopefully do same next year.
