The Duke for me today. I like it, but I really prefer more powerful perfumes. I'm not at all subtle!

Interesting that Duke doesnt meet your powerful benchmark Flora , you are not the only one to say that recently here - yet I think of it as a heavy hitter.

@1frenchfoodie, Black Calamus is my absolute favourite. It's the one perfume that makes everything okay. I adore it! I stand by my assertion that The Duke is barely there. I envy you getting a big hit from it though - I'd probably buy a bottle if I thought it were stronger.

I was just about to buy my bottle of Bowmakers, when I remembered I have a €10 voucher for nose.fr somewhere. I can't for the life of me remember where I put it though. I think I'm just going to buy it anyway. No doubt the voucher will turn up as soon as I've paid!

PS I'm assuming swapping samples of perfume isn't considered essential at the moment. If anyone desperately needs some for the sake of their mental health let me know and I'll send some off!

I've been dx with an eye condition today that will mean regular scans and probably injections into my eye 👁 🙃
Could have been worse though.
Ds1 gutted re: the announcement about a levels.
Ds2 seems happy to be learning at home for now.
No idea when do will be back to international travelling.

flora I have been teaching 100% remotely since March. It is so much more time consuming in terms of preparing lessons, and the students see MS Teams like chatting on WhatsApp, so we are essentially providing a 24/7 helpline. I hate it, but I do think our management have been very reasonable. It will be interesting to see what happens next now schools are off as we are currently expected to deliver live lectures to timetable.

shrill that sounds horrendous - injections in the eye makes me screw my toes up in fear. Needles are my phobia at the best of times, and despite wearing contact lenses since I was 16, I am squeamish about eyes. Hope you are okay.
