SOTD MMM Fireplace. It is SO cold here today, I needed something cosy.

Sotd ACDD it hasn't got above freezing here today and the fog only lifted for about an hour around lunch time before descending on us again.

Ysl's Paris today. Its vintage EDT and such a fantastic perfume. They really don't make them like this any more.
I seem to be on a big Rose Violet kick at the moment. Last night's scent was L Artisan Parfumeur Drole d Rose.

Its freezing here too and we're forecast lots of snow ❄️ tomorrow. I will be marooned with 3 grumpy online schoolers😢.

@Shrill that all absolutely sounds terrifying and i can't imagine what having an eyeball scan was like . But are you relieved that you finally have a diagnosis?

Well, I sort of have a diagnosis.
It could be another condition and he is getting a 2nd opinion on that.
Bottom line is he doesn't think its cancer which was what I was referred for so yesterday was a good day, eyeball procedures and all 😁

Eyeball scan was fine, honestly
They put anaesthetic drops in so it doesn't hurt. It just feels WEIRD. And your eyes get a bit crusty from the gel.

If they are still available I would love to try the first three samples on your list: Swedoft Rasputin, Zoologist Bee and Pierre guillame animal mondain. I have a lot of samples to list but haven’t sorted them yet. I’ll have a go this afternoon and offer them to you first. 😊

@QueenPawPaws my SOTD is Parfums Hashtag ILoveYou. I too adore it. I bought a few bottles from that range when they were very cheap in The Fragrance Shop. ILoveYou is my favourite. It smells like a pastry with squidgy soft almond paste inside. You might like to try Love & Crime by Ex Idolo. It is £££ but is like a rich vanilla gateau and so good in the winter.

I can’t believe Chanel have discontinued Cristalle, shrill. I think I asked about that last year as I couldn’t find it anywhere, but another poster said she had recently bought some.

Sotd is Frédéric Malle Musu Ravageur (hope its spelt correctly the label is handwritten) it was a random free sample, its OK but there is something I don't quite like, I can't put my finger on it and it seems to come and go.

Yardley jade is supposed to be a dead ringer for Cristalle...

I love it when everything is all sparkly and clean but it lasts such a short time 😒

World events continue to leave me feeling very low/angry/baffled/scared so I'm mostly watching lots of feel good comedies atm.

Enjoyed staged 2 and I must have watched all 6 seasons of schitts creek 10 times now!

Mum is coming up for a games evening this evening (we are her care bubble) with a chippy tea so that'll be something different.

I had a bath this morning with some cheapie pink pepper & mandarin bath salts; they smell divine!

Shrill the eyeball injections sound scary. If it's any comfort, I found after my eye op that eyes are a lot less sensitive than you might expect. Hope you find that to be true too.

Yes, Cristalle has been discontinued. I'm very sad as I wore it for over 20 years. YY to Yardley Jade being a dead ringer, it really is, but buy the round bottle not Yardley Jade Flora as that's different. Thing is, Yardley Jade is being discontinued too, so be quick to snap it up wherever you find it.

Actually Miller Harris Wander smells a bit like Chanel Cristalle. Not identical, but a nice fresh green. You might also like Meet Me on The Corner by 4160 Tuesdays which is a fresh 70s citrus chypre.

I've been working through all my perfumes and the reaction is calming down. None of them have reignited it. The day it flared up I was having a hard time, so maybe it was a stress reaction rather than allergic?

Shrill you are being very calm about the eyeball thing, I am thinking of you. Eyes freak me out and I would not be so brave!

Papillon's Tobacco Rose is my Sotd. I seem to be fixated by Rose scents at the moment.

Hi @MissBattleaxe, I must try Wonder . I know Miller Harris recommended this as a replacement to the late lamented Fleur Du Matin. I also forgot that I had two bottles of Private Collection Jasmin white moss which is quite similar to Cristalle too.

Struggling to motivate my teenagers at the moment. Anyone else?
