Following on from the previous, lovely thread, which saw me through Spring / Summer.

For sharing plus size fashion / outfits and general shopping chat.

@SNAFUandFUBARsimultaneously it doesn't matter if you are slim- I think it's the culture of this thread that is important- body positive and appreciative of all tastes of clothing, not just what is high fashion!

I was a bit about that comment about 16 being not plus size- I am 5'2" and a 16 which certainly lols plus size! Out and proud!

I'm the opposite - I gain when I am stressed as I use food as a grounding strategy which is very unhealthy.

Thanks @DottyDotAgain! I love Sainsbury's jeans. I've bought a few pairs recently and they are great.

@Peachypips78, yes, I agree. I don't want to prevent people from posting on here because they are the 'wrong' size. That would be hugely hypocritical of me as I would be mighty pissed off if someone said I couldn't post on general style and beauty because I'm too big!

Oooh thank you all - I love Hellbunny, I used to have a halterneck 1950s swimsuit from them which was the only time I felt good in a cossie! Currently eyeing up one of their velvet mini dresses with a Peter Pan collar (love these, and pussy cat bows, bows in general really) and yes pockets should be compulsory in clothing

Also love that this thread is the only thread on MN where people take selfies standing on their toilet

In the spirit of joining in, I am wearing big fluffy socks with a cat face and Pom poms on (present from DH, no idea where they could have come from!) and a short grey cotton dress from Amazon essentials/Daily Ritual range (if anyone hasn't heard of them they are great and do a whole range of sizes).

I know a lot of people try to boycott Amazon so apologies if so, but this is one of the dresses, the sizes/colours are all different prices but if you're lucky they come together eg this dress is £5.75.

Also meant to say I really love Zanzea clothes too.

I guess I'm borderline plus size at a 16 on bottom and 14 on top but I'm very pear shaped!

Can anyone recommend a v-neck top that is more drapey that close fitting? Everything I look at is a bit sack-like

I'd also love to know that @greyinganddecaying! At the moment things in the shops seem to be either boxy and short or tight fitting. Neither of which work well on me.

Half the office is on holiday this week (bastards) and the usual 15 are down to 5 so I figured I'm safe to take a selfie in the office kitchen which is the only place in my life with a full length mirror.

Pink splodgy top today with secret jeans on - another work from home day - corporate on top, total scruff on the bottom

I have new stuff! I popped into Sainsbos the other day and came out with leopard print pinafore.

Also new boots. although its too hot to wear them right now. I have been failing so far to find some that fit my wide feet and to my requirements (calf or ankle, black suede, fluffy inside, flat, wide and preferably pull-on), but I got these Sketchers and I love them.

Tunic and jeans both from Sainsbury's! Looking at the picture, the colours don't seem to go that well...think I need to wear this top with my navy jeans rather than grey?

Marking my place. I often lurk looking for inspiration. I'm a size 20/22, my problem area is my big fat belly. I'm also long bodied so regular tops are always too short. I'm mostly living in jeans with drapey shirt style tops over the top. Dresses for the odd time I need to go to the office.

Thats a lovely tunic Jessica, I like it with the grey but blue might stand out more.

Im in black M&S trousers sz 16 and warehouse floral top, I was on site today so looking smart.

@Myshitisreal very comfy. I tend to go for a 20 in Sainsbos (normally I wear an 18) and I have a denim one similar to this from there too which I also love. This is twill so not as thick. They are a little bit sac-of-spud-ish but they are so comfy I don't care.
I tried some in stretch corduroy from there too because the colours were lovely, but they were too tight on the bum and not quite stiff enough to sit properly on me.
@JessicaTheJellyfish I'm so glad I don't need to stand on the loo seat. I'm sure there would be some kind of loo armageddon involving me crashing through the lid and destroying the shower screen.

@OhioOhioOhio, sorry if this thread wasn't what you were looking for.

There is a range of sizes on here. I'm a range of sizes myself tbh, but mainly an 18.

In UK retail, plus size ranges tend to start at size 14 - 16, so I don't see any problem with those sizes joining in chat about plus size fashion. Or anyone who is interested tbh! If a size 8 happens upon this thread and enjoys the chat, they are welcome too.

PS: @sugarbum, I am blaming you for the fact that I've just ordered a pinafore! I also went up a size to 20 for comfort. Will report back!
