Och yes @RubySlippers77, I know what you mean about not worrying too much about what to wear and then suddenly really having to think about it. That definitely happens to me when I've gained weight or just lost my way a bit fashion-wise.

I bought a Dress. Look at my dress! I took a punt on it 'size 16-18' and even though there's no label I reckon it's older dress in xl which is 16 but larger than the current 16s if that make sense (as it fits everywhere)

Comfy but smart-ish black and white dress from Evans for me today as I'm in the office. No tights as I'm making the most of the weather, so I can wear my fit flops again!

Okay, I just realised I sound a bit of an alarming weirdo saying I watch you all but don't join in

I think I was on previous threads in a different name, the only reason I'm lurking not posting atm is that I have (unintentionally) lost a shitload of weight so none of my clothes fucking fit - also I didn't want to seem a knob and being insensitive as though I was being smug being thinner - I wouldn't recommend the stress and illness diet and actually wish I could wear my "good" clothes instead of pyjamas make dos from eBay.

You all look lovely, and you're all so stylish and know how to dress!

Yes, I'm familiar with the stress (not so much the illness) diet! It does the trick, but it isn't pleasant . Hope you're ok now? Lurk away or contribute! You're v welcome to do either.

I'm sure on an older thread we had smaller sizes who just liked plus size as they were shorter or had a tricky to dress shape 🤷‍♀️.

Omg YY to dresses with POCKETS 😍. My new Hell Bunny dress has pockets and it makes me love it at least twice as much. I was so happy when I realised there were pockets 😂.

Should really rename this thread the "size inclusive" thread! But I'm sure the original W.A.Y.W.T. thread is inclusive too, so, never sure if I'm encroaching! I will keep this thread going though. I'm a clear plus size; 16-18 and I find lots if inspiration on here .

Thank you for the dress love. Its an old second hand HellBunny dress. @JessicaTheJellyfish and @livingdeadgirluk both bought a beautiful hellbunny one recently which inspired me.

I have to confess I bought another 2 off Hell Bunny website. There were others which went back 😭. Their XL is 16, XXl is 18. I need an 18 for the bust but it leaves the dress a bit gapey in other places but thats an age old problem, it's very difficult for me to get a dress that fits everywhere and that is actually flattering. So when I found the other one, I bought 2 in the same style (😳) 😂

I think all inclusive is nice. On the older thread (from time ago) there were some comments how size 16 wasn't really plus sized

@snafuandfubarsimultaneously welcome. I'm sorry it sounds like you've been through a lot.. Are you recovering or still unwell??? I lost a lot of weight through stress last year, its a strange one isn't it. Hope you're looking after yourself ♥

Here I am in tie dye Jurassic Park tshirt from Etsy and cream, girlfriend jeans from Sainsbury's. The tshirt is a size XXL or something and the jeans are an 18.

I too get the gaping! If something fits my boobs and tummy, it quite often is baggy elsewhere. But I know people who have the opposite problem too, where something fits their legs and bum but gapes at the waist! I do think some shops cater better for certain shapes though...I just wish I could work out which one catered to mine .

I wear jeans in a bigger size if I plan to show my tummy at all - as in, normal length tops, not crop tops or anything. If I'm wearing something long line or tunic-y over the top, I can get away with a smaller size.

Yes, I'm sure there was a question mark over what officially counts as plus size on the older threads wasn't there? I think because some smaller sizes came on and said they were plus size because they were very petite, but say a size 14.

I personally don't want to exclude any size, as long as you enjoy plus size fashion chat, you are very welcome .

I aspire to be a size 16 - 18 . Am a 22 at the moment - hoping and trying, as ever, to be smaller - I must have at least 5 x different clothes sizes in my wardrobe....

Yeah I know what you mean, all different shapes and sizes have different issues. My wee sis has incredible curves and can't get jeans to fit at all because her waist to bum ratio is outside the normal realms. They all gape at the back.

I guess like bravissimo cater for larger busts, there aren't any others for specific body shapes outside of tall or plus size. If I had the money I'd set up a shop to cater for the most common body shapes in a wide range of sizes. Had anyone ever tried bravissimo clothes, I never have?

I have a wardrobe which caters for all my fluctuations too 😳 it's a nightmare. I go up or down it seems every year

Today is my favourite kind of work day - working from home and have lots of online meetings, so have got a spotty work top (Evans) on, with really comfy loungewear leggings from Yours that no-one can see

It's possible I'm quite black and white spotty obsessed...!
