Yes I liked the rings too.
And the cotton linen boxy shirt.
The colours of the Aime PJ shirt are lovely but it’s maybe one to watch for a sale.

ScottishMouse · 29/10/2020 19:59

The cotton linen boxy shirt looks really lovely!

margentina · 29/10/2020 20:26

I have loved Toast for over a decade but I'm getting a bit concerned at the number of items made in China, the prevalence of viscose and the ever-rocketing pricesAngry

Laska2Meryls · 30/10/2020 07:22

Ooh new stuff?? >>>>>>>>🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️

Laska2Meryls · 30/10/2020 07:23

Haha how did those emoticons come out like that? Supposed to be women running !!

Laska2Meryls · 30/10/2020 07:35

Ah slightly disappointing , the green dress is nice, but I still have the pinwheel one in same style from last year unworn.. haven't been anywhere to wear it because of some nasty bug going around.. I like the cotton linen shirt but it doesn't scream 'winter' at me.. think that may be a sale list one for me..

MaizeBlouse · 30/10/2020 10:20

Ooh also like the boxy blouse but clothes like that always make me look like a school girl.

Does anyone have the linen gingham trousers? I really like the look of them so would love to know peoples thoughts if they own them.

AuldFox · 30/10/2020 12:15

I agree the new dresses look more appropriate for late summer/early autumn than winter. Especially since we need nice warm clothes for outdoor socialising this Christmas. I’ll get more use out of a great coat this year than a viscose dress....

Craftycorvid · 30/10/2020 12:53

Yes, I don’t think the hiking boot trend is a coincidence! I’m fairly outdoorsey anyway, but I seem to spend half my time yomping round parks and woodland at the moment (and I’m not complaining). But no, floaty dresses don’t cut it outdoors. What a great excuse to invest in coats and jumpers! Grin

Countmeout · 30/10/2020 13:50

I was surprised there wasn’t another warm coat in the new drop. The dogtooth one is from last winter and the other one is eye wateringly expensive.

Craftycorvid · 30/10/2020 15:58

So I caved and got the wool and cashmere cardi’ in Turmeric. Looks gorgeous! I’m impatient, so while I’m waiting for my parcel, if you have one, please talk to me about fit? Comfort? Wearability with different things? I’m on the sofa feeling cosy in a ‘neat’ cardigan in Carmin - they run small, strangely enough, so I’m finding a medium about right. Very unusual for Toast these days!

Laska2Meryls · 31/10/2020 09:54

Looks like we are getting near the end of the thread .. ?

Laska2Meryls · 31/10/2020 09:59

A few more posts to go yet . .
I gave received my two ebay buys today really pleased with them both . Red cord tunic dress and wool checked tunic dress.. I don't remember seeing either so maybe a few years old but neither obviously worn much.. cant show you right now as its si dark and stormy here right now ( at 10am!
photos wouldn't come out !! )

Countmeout · 31/10/2020 10:18

So I got the falling leaves dress, had sold enough on eBay so it cost me about £5 😂 . Absolutely delighted with it whether Christmas Day happens or not. I bought a 12 to accommodate my chest (and the scones) as their button front dresses seem smaller fitting to me. It is a fantastic weight, hangs beautifully, I’m happy with the length, looks great with long boots, trainers boots generally, would be dressed up with a naice black low heeled court type shoe if required. The background colour is I would say bone, as it goes with my arran type jumper from last year perfectly to turn it into a casual look. Can you tell I love it? Don’t even need to mention the pockets do l ?
Glad your eBay buys worked out well @Laska2Meryls, look forward to pictures.
I have not got the cardigan in Turmeric @Craftycorvid, will be interesting to see what colour it actually is when you get it.

Craftycorvid · 31/10/2020 10:22

Countmeout I like your eBay/cost from Toast ratio! 😂. I apply the same one.

mizu · 31/10/2020 10:31

Laska great the cord dress is good. I am still on eBay for similar. I have 3 TOAST denim dresses that I rotate for work and I really NEED a cord one Grin

faustina · 31/10/2020 11:01

oh if this thread finishes could we please have another one? I enjoy reading this so much - and particularly seeing how things really look and fit

Laska looking forward to seeing your eBay dresses - and @Countmeout, that is a great bargain! I am just about to spend my eBay money on a ring

Gonegrey31 · 31/10/2020 11:02

Countmeout I'm so tempted by the Falling leaves dress but there is quite long wait for my normal size. I don't want to buy 2 sizes and have the money outstanding for some time before I can return one of them for a refund. May I ask, did you size down a full size from your normal Toast size? I'd be so grateful for a steer please. Glad you are delighted with it!

AuldFox · 31/10/2020 12:51

I still haven’t reached a Toast shop (end unlikely to in this weather!) and I too would be grateful for a steer (or armpit to armpit measurements) on the falling leaves dress. Thank you in advance!

Countmeout · 31/10/2020 13:48

I didn’t size down @Gonegrey31. I usually buy a 10 or 12 in Toast dresses. This is a 12. I can only get away with a 10 in dresses without buttons in the front . I am a DD cup.
@AuldFox it is 21-21.5 inches pit to pit. I am 5’4” and my guesstimate is that it is about 6 inches off the ground. Although I think someone else found it too long. Will try to get a picture tomorrow but I can’t bear to take my clothes off today.
Did take a picture of the splash of colour - it may be old gold or turmeric. The slate is lovely. Deceptively has an almost navy hint in some lights.

Toast the fourth!
Gonegrey31 · 31/10/2020 14:07

Thank you so much. I'm totally flat after double MX in past, so chest size not an issue for me. Think I'll order my normal size. It does look like a lovely dress.

AuldFox · 31/10/2020 14:10

count thanks so much, that is super helpful! Your photo gives better detail than the website for sure.

Countmeout · 31/10/2020 14:27

I should have said there’s a belt attached either side at the base of the Pintuck it came looped up. I think I prefer it with the belt loose but it’s flattering either way. The sleeves are quite loose . On my screen the colour in the photo I’ve posted looks quite accurate .

Laska2Meryls · 31/10/2020 15:18

Here are my latest ebay Toast wins.. Red Cord and Wool check shirt dresses ..Really pleased with both (need an iron ) . Does anyone recognise either? Am wondering how old the wool check one is ? Its in like new condition though ..
