@neveradullmoment99 did your trousers arrive? Mine are coming tomorrow . That’s a week from order to delivery.
Also I know some of you also buy Hush, I’ve ordered a couple of things to try and although I got the order confirmation that’s been it , no dispatch nothing. Does it normally take this long, both items in stock.

neveradullmoment99 · 02/10/2020 15:26

They did and were posted right back! As a general rule, me and Toast trousers dont get on!! They had a low crotch and despite ordering the small they were still pretty big!
The were the gingham ones. Nice material. A bit too light for winter.

onlyconnect those are gorgeous shoes. I’ve looked and drooled myself.

AmethystMoonShine · 03/10/2020 13:42

I will post when I eventually order & try on the black & green dress @ilovecherries Smile
Thanks for the sizing wisdom @ToastCosILoveIt, I’m usually a Toast 10 in dresses but I sized up to a 12 for the Chalkboard dress which fits well. I’m a 34/36D bust which I always think sounds busty, but I’m really not. I’ve got a broad back & shoulders. As Cherries said the chalkboard is neat on the waist. So this experience, plus our group knowledge plus Toast site reviews.... means I’m planning to order a 12...fingers crossed!
You’re right it is such an Autumn dress... I’m hoping it will look good with my black DMs.
If it’s a rubbish fit on me....my next choice will be the Indigo denim dress as the khaki coat dress from the summer fits me really well and this looks similar. I’m also loving the look of the Lexi blue culottes.... can’t have them all though Sad
Lastly @Craftycorvid I totally get what you say about eBay but in this case they clearly wanted more than I paid for it in the sale, and as I’d worn it already... in my head it’s not worth quite so much Grin plus, I’m very much commitmend to ‘plan green & black dress’!

@Countmeout I buy fairly frequently from Hush, after having an order confirmation it usually takes 2-3 days to get a despatch email confirmation. Customer service is good via telephone but they aren't so good at responding to emails, give them a ring and chase it up. What did you order?

Countmeout · 03/10/2020 16:11

Thanks @Ellapaella the email arrived of course not long after I posted 🙄. I’ve ordered the sweatshirt midi dress to try for something comfortable to pull on - not sure if it’ll work.

I got my Toast parcel today, a pair of gab is in soft black, it’s a very soft black but I’m keeping those. I ordered the dogtooth coat as I had coveted it since last year. After all that time spent drooling over it it’s going back, balloon sleeves a total fail, lovely colour though as I knew it was.
Keeping the cashmere wool wrap which is divine, so generous and soft, I bought papaya in the end. It’s so fine it doesn’t feel bulky worn as a scarf but is so big it’s a great wrap/blanket.
Justified as I sent most of my sale order back apart from the shirt.

Looking forward to seeing your green checked dress @AmethystMoonShine.

ToastCosILoveIt · 03/10/2020 18:04

Moonshine, i will wear mine with DMs too for a more casual look and something a bit smarter for a more formal, office look.

I think I can help you with the indigo denim dress if it is the one below. I have it in a 12 packed up and ready to return but I am dithering. It fits well on top, slightly roomy even but it does flare out and is big on the bottom. I have tried belting it with a leather belt but there is lots of material so I am not sure if it flatters or not. I am tempted to return and try a 10 but not sure if this would fit on top. Given the fit of the 12, it is possible a 10 will fit. I am planning to lose a stone so that might help but consious of not wanting to buy on the basis of needing to lose weight..

Begging request - sorry!

Anybody have a discount code i could use ? Please.

Thank you

Saurus72 · 03/10/2020 18:25

@AmethystMoonShine the indigo denim dress is gorgeous but huuugggere. I sized down two sizes from my usual Toast dress size and it’s still pretty generous. I am waiting for the next Toast sale to try and get the khaki linen version which was just beautiful.

Laska2Meryls · 03/10/2020 18:28

saffy have pmd you .. I have a 20% code

Saurus72 · 03/10/2020 18:33

@Countmeout I am absolutely coveting the cashmere wrap, just need to work up to paying £350 for that and the trailing leaves dress 😬. So much money but I know I would love them.

faustina · 03/10/2020 18:40

So happy! my fair isle jumper arrived today! I pre-ordered it months ago - the colours are wonderful - it really is a thing of beauty

Toast the fourth!
Laska2Meryls · 03/10/2020 18:41

oh thats lovely faustina

MikeUniformMike · 03/10/2020 19:00

It is indeed, faustina

faustina · 03/10/2020 19:21

Thank you both! It's much longer than the graphic yoke jumper too - and narrower, but still quite oversized (this despite the measurements on the website saying it was shorter)

applecatchers36 · 03/10/2020 19:31

Beautiful jumper Faustina bet you will get loads of wear from it ..

Countmeout · 03/10/2020 19:46

Fabulous jumper @faustina. The colours look lovely.
You would love it @Saurus72.

Ellapaella · 03/10/2020 20:01

Oh Faustina it's beautiful

Craftycorvid · 03/10/2020 22:03

Ooh gorgeous jumper, faustina. I love a bit of fairisle.

Countmeout · 04/10/2020 10:34

Scarf porn for @Saurus72
Even if I never cross the door for the next 6 months this will get so much use.

Saurus72 · 04/10/2020 10:47

Ah you lucky thing @Countmeout! That’s the colour I love too, completely beautiful. Are you wearing it round the house this weekend? I’ve made some progress though - sold something on eBay for £80 this morning so halfway there 😎

faustina · 04/10/2020 10:53

@Countmeout - that colour is so lovely. Things like that make all the difference. I have a very old toast blanket - cashmere - which I bought in the sale about ten years ago. it was pretty expensive even when reduced but almost every single morning I wrap it round myself and drink coffee. I think cost per wear I'm in minus numbers now!

Ellapaella · 04/10/2020 13:07

Has anyone ever bought from Finisterre? I love the look of their clothes and they seem quite an ethical brand. Quite Toast - like. I'm loving some of the trousers https://finisterre.com

Craftycorvid · 04/10/2020 13:39

Loving the thought of cashmere wraps! I too have been ‘good’ and am eBaying lots of things. I decided that my cost-per-wear on some things was disastrous! I have a bad impulse buying instinct (and I blame being taken to jumble sales a lot as a kid: there you cannot dither, you just grab). I’m trying to become a reformed character in my mature years!

Craftycorvid · 04/10/2020 13:41

Ooh and Finisterre looks good - sort of posh version of Seasalt in some respects? Very surfer but in a serious way.
