Is it me or has all of the sale stuff disappeared off of the website? I had three items in my bag which all sold out before I got to the checkout and now the Sales tab has disappeared.

Amethyst think carefully about sending the whole dress back in case they just refund. Could you just send the belt? That dress was in my bag in a 12 and then sold out earlier today!

I also ordered the black and brown check dress, I think I am keeping it. Ume was too big I think, not sure if it is possible to exchange for a smaller size given sale has ended - I think I need an 8. Poplin shirt slightly see through and quite wide at hem? Will ponder. And cotton linen trees (earlier model of Jude trousers) a success! Very neat in the waist so I took a 10 in these.

Cockahoop as I’ve just received a dispatch email for the Moroccan stripe wool gauze dress! I feared I would be refunded as they’d oversold.

Saurus, my white linen tee also shrank in length, despite me washing it as if it were a precious robe handed down through the generations. You’ve prompted me to gather myself to send it back.

Last night, I ordered another pair of Veja V-10 trainers ( in the pink and orange fluoro colour way) and a tonne of sketch books and note books for my art-mad DD1.

@StyleandBeautyfail - you're very welcome! I tried on the olive Blundstones from Toast and liked them but not £140 liked them if you see what I mean. I've ordered the same as you, also the navy and the cherry red lace ups - hopefully I won't love them so much that I'll want to keep them all!

@Saurus72 - yes my linen tee shrunk too but I wasn't sure if it was because I'd dyed it. I have had many other linen tees (gap, jcrew) in the past and no shrinkage

@AmethystMoonShine I sent the Bea nightdress back for them to examine “the perceived fault” and they refunded me AND sent a replacement

I ordered the chalkboard dress in the summer sale. My normal size (so not even my toast size!) wouldn’t fasten at the waist.

@ilovecherries that chalkboard dress is definitely a ‘neat’ fit on the upper half compared to other styles. Mine fits but only just!

I have the chalkboard dress too in the black/biscuit colour and I love it, I wore it just today. But I had to size up, and even then I would like an extra inch or two around the busy ideally.

In other news, I found the gingham cotton cashmere trousers at my local store. No trying on in store so bought them and took them home. Verdict - terrible. Maybe just on me though. The front is gathered and bunched out terribly, the back is not gathered and was quite neat across my not at all ample bum. They were weirdly wide, even for culottes and just didn’t work at all for me. ☹️

Oh no!!! What a shame after all that, they dont fit.

Im a long waisted, tall, size 12 and they are roomy in a size M but lovely and drapey over my hips no bunching at all.
The wool check skirt is another one that seems to work on my body shape but not for other people.

I am only just over five foot @StyleandBeautyfail so I think that probably didn’t help either.

They are longish on me so must have almost reached the floor on you.
You sound petite -proportions are totally different.

We are still away but I have a few Toast things from the sale waiting for me when I get back on Thursday.

Re the bamboo nightdresses and vest tops . I have them from last year and wear all the time, they are great . I also have the L as preferred them looser.. I haven't found that they changed shape after washing..

I bought another bambo slip and a vest in this sale and am going to dye them navy .
Also bought the striped blue tee and the yellow half sleeve.
Excited also that I have the graphic jumper and the gingham skirt waiting for me also, .( Ive gone a little mad). Bought the jumper before we came away and the skirt after seeing it at York shop whilst we were there..

Sadly missed out on the Blundstones only tiny sizes left , but what a bargain!

I realise I might be a tad impatient... but, has anyone had a despatch email for orders placed on Monday?
I placed an order on Thursday last week and had the despatch email the same day and it arrived on a Monday morning.
Just wondering what the general pattern is?

They do seem to be a bit slow right now Amethyst . I ordered stuff on first day of the dale ( was that Friday?) And they are only being delivered today it seems

Morning Amethyst, I’m awaiting delivery today for four items ordered on Thursday evening and I am advised to expect delivery tomorrow for an order placed late last Friday. I bought some sketch books and note books as a last sale purchase on Monday evening and I’ve only had an order confirmation email.

I so much preferred it when my Post Pass entitled never to free express/next day delivery!

I must have got lucky on Thursday last week when I placed my first sale order! It’s this second one that seems slow, and I’ve even got the post pass. I only put a second order in after they added new lines on Monday.
Ah well, I shall have to wait it out. I’m so impatient when I’ve ordered something

My parcel arrived!

The Japanese check shirt is a triumph. fabulous rich colours, great cut - roomy and slightly androgynous - and just so, so comfy. I am now officially addicted to Toast shirts and this one will be a wardrobe staple.

The Moroccan stripe dress - I'm sad to report that it's probably going back. It's too big and shapeless - I don't mind a relaxed cut but it just hangs and looks really whisper it frumpy on me. I was hoping to wear it with bike boots and a jacket out to lunch at the weekend but I just don't think it's going to cut the mustard. Maybe I'll try and style it up later but I'm really not sure. Beautiful fabric though.
