I'm still seeing so many cold shoulder tops. Who is buying these monstrosoties?!

Ruffles don't seem to be going anywhere either.

Skinny jeans. AWFUL.
Really should only be worn by skinny people.

snappycamper · 25/08/2020 22:23

Beards too.

TheMistressQuickly · 25/08/2020 22:24

Socks and sliders. Why?!

biggirlknickers · 25/08/2020 22:24

@Starsabove1

Well said. Live and let live. Wear what ever you like. Don’t judge anyone else’s fashion choices.

Aurora20 · 25/08/2020 22:30

Ripped jeans!

Tillytess · 25/08/2020 22:36

High waisted anything! I am short and they look like old man trousers on me also accentuate tummy! Angry

Pandacub7 · 25/08/2020 22:54

Faded “gradient” brows - looks like a mono brow.

“Baking” the face (so crepey and old looking in natural light).

FaceTune - people editing their body in pics AND videos.

Pandacub7 · 25/08/2020 22:56

Oh and lip fillers. They look painful.

Hugsgalore · 25/08/2020 23:04

fake tan. Jesus it's so shit looking on most people.

Greenglassteacup · 25/08/2020 23:08

Yellow clothes
Scrunches
Frankenstein style flatform footwear
Sliders
Contouring ( stop it, you look like Crichton from Red Dawrf)
Beards
White plimsoles with dresses

Greenglassteacup · 25/08/2020 23:08

Love leggings as long as not see through or practically tights)

Yesterdayforgotten · 25/08/2020 23:12

Hate filters and wish people would just post normal pics...nobody does anymore

Bl3ss3dm0m · 25/08/2020 23:48

Liverpool eyebrows (sorry Liverpool, I love you, just not those slugs),
Cold shoulders,
Thick make-up,
Keep Calm and .... slogans.

SinisterBumFacedCat · 26/08/2020 00:23

Drag queen false eyelashes for putting the bins out. False eyelashes are for special events/nights out. Also Bert and Ernie eyebrows.

grannieali · 26/08/2020 01:07

How graceful the women looked in 1950s saris in "A Suitable Boy" . There are still sari fashions, but it would be a relief to have a go to dress stye for all occasions not requiring energetic movement.

Enough4me · 26/08/2020 01:10

Puff oversized sleeves, on a windy day could become a kite.

ZaraCarmichaelshighheels · 26/08/2020 01:12

@AnaViaSalamanca

going to be flamed for this, but trainers with dresses/skirts
Absolutely this! Everyone wears them so ubiquitous for the 40 plus it’s like a uniform for the middle aged woman (I’m middle aged before I get flamed) even worse when teamed with a leather biker jacket, enough already!
DancingCatGif · 26/08/2020 01:16

I like a lot of these things though.

Smock dresses (not fashionable at all where I am and can't find them anywhere)
Puffy sleeves
Leggings
Crop tops

The fashion here is for massive sack dresses that drown you. They look awful.

Sweetpea1532 · 26/08/2020 05:01

@LaMarschallin...I'm A bit late to the party but your donut-ectomy had me spitting out my popcorn🤣🤣🤣🤣. You are hilarious!!!!! That was a good one!

WhatamessIgotinto · 26/08/2020 06:43

@ZaraCarmichaelshighheels I'm with you on this one too. I'm on a FB group where literally every other post is a woman of a similar age to me (early 50s) in a floaty dress/skirt asking for advice on footwear. The reply is always the same - trainers! In some cases it looks great but on most it really doesn't IMO. Comfortable though so I can see why it's a popular look.

It's also what my DD would wear so that makes me feel that I'll reach for flat sandals instead, I'm pretty sure she doesn't want me dressing like her and her mates. 😁

Yeh i never thought that looked good.

EspressoX10 · 26/08/2020 07:43

British people are very weary of browns and beige, but they're staples in the continent and look very chic, particularly if you're dark haired and have olive skin tones.

I'm from a Mediterranean country and my wardrobe is full of beige items.

I just find most trends at the moment too loud (visually speaking).

Rebelwithallthecause · 26/08/2020 07:45

I find beige especially camel tones have been overdone massively in U.K. over the past few years

I’m dark haired and olive skinned but don’t suit browns or beige

PineappleUpsideDownCake · 26/08/2020 07:50

Fake nails of any type and long nails (even natural).
There was a thread recently and people put pictures of their own up to say "even these, these are beautiful.." and they were all truly horrid.
