The trustpilot reviews (and the sudden push for people to write them) are also interesting because a lot of the positive ones mention the Facebook group, so don't even reflect the service on offer anymore

Three negative trustpilot reviews have just been added. I think it stinks to encourage customers to write a good review just before you throw them off the platform.

I was following Suzy before she employed any stylists. I enjoyed her FB pages and generally ended up buying a couple of items recommended every few months. I’ve had an online analysis, a make up one and bought three PDFs. However I can’t justify paying £6 a month which is a real shame. I can afford it but I can’t see the point.

Honestly to get people to start writing reviews on trustpilot, then start charging and then start booting people off the group???

Is it Susie doing it, or her minions??

I really like Emily, I think she’s fab, I’ll be interested to know what her other stylists think of all this.

Someone else has commented that the commenting was turned off on the live video after a while. Despite no one trolling or being cruel.

Basically if you don’t sing their exact tune, you get booted off

Susie WTF are you doing????

I don't think the new platform will be as accessible for everyone and alienates a large proportion of her customers who don't want to pay to be in the club.

Oh dear, I think this is a disaster for her business and such a cock up. Surely she should keep the free instagram and FB stuff and use the audience to get sponsorship deals to make more money? Then she could offer extra paid m-for content on Patreon without the charity donation to make it more affordable. She hasn’t done her research at all and she had the perfect platform to do market research.

I certainly won’t be paying £72 a year to see a bunch of middle aged women dressing as overgrown tellytubbies in Dame Edna glasses.

I've just left the FB group. Such a disappointment.

I have rarely seen anything go down like a lead balloon quite as badly as this. The comments on fb... Out of over 300 I think about 2 said they would subscribe.

She's policing her Insta and hiding all negative comments on her post about her new platform.

Hopefully now she realises how as a customer of Main Hustle School and who has received shit poor advice from a "professional service provider" that she might be looking for some advice and rectification of this mess. Just as her customers have when they received a wrong analysis. Wonder how she'd like it if Main Hustle School just ignored her comments and complaints after such shockingly poor business advice

It is extremely ironic if she has acted on bad advice that she's paid an amateur for.

I’m flabbergasted with all this quite frankly, I’ve never seen such a poor business decision. That Main Hustle School woman looks like a complete fraud; she barely has any Instagram followers, I can’t find anything about her online, and her page was only set up at the beginning of July. Where did Susie find her?! To take the advice of shutting down a 14k strong group is utterly bewildering - people pay good money for an audience of that size to market to.

Totally agree but karma really somebody with questionable qualifications giving often poor style advice is given dodgy marketing advice by some social media marketing ‘guru’

I commented on the Fb post and now can't see it... either I've been blocked or the whole things been deleted?

The comments on Emily's IG regarding this business 'move' are mostly negative. Wonder how long till they are deleted....

I rarely post, normally lurk - I was in the group, now have been summarily booted for agreeing with negative statements about this new subscription only group! I will keep on following Emily as I quite like her style but SBS won't get another penny from me. As I had only bought an analysis I suppose I wasn't enough of a cash cow for her anyway.

Starlight39 · 31/08/2020 07:38

It is a baffling decision to ditch a big marketing platform. I wonder how many people will sign up to the app thing. I bought an analysis and sometimes posted in the group but certainly won’t pay £6 a month. Tbh, even if it was free it wouldn’t be as convenient as a fb group and I doubt I’d use it much.

If anyone has the name of the new fb group someone set up, I’d be really grateful for a pm. I can’t find it in the comments on the SBS group.

@Starlight39 it is called Style Sisterhood. There are a few people saying they think their abskysus was wrong.

It is Style Sisterhood on FB. I joined it (probably why I got booted from the other one) so am happy to pm a link!
