@Laska2Meryls I never knew that about the sale, now I have this very dangerous knowledge and I’m doomed Blush

Laska2Meryls · 20/07/2020 13:25

Ignore me. auldfox.... I am a well known unreliable narrator.. !! Wink but as an unreliable narrator I am bound to say that aint I ? Grin

Laska2Meryls · 20/07/2020 13:30

count I think it does , I had that email

Saurus72 · 20/07/2020 13:31

Jumpers/cardis are pretty much all I wear to work October-April, my office is so so cold. House is chilly too so if you think about it, it’s just a basic necessity of life 🙄😊

MrsCat1 · 20/07/2020 13:40

Hello fellow Toasters! I've been a long time lurker and an even longer term Toast fan and decided it was time to break cover. My lovely postman has just delivered the Jio dress and a black velvet jumpsuit. I had counted on sending at least one of them back but they are both gorgeous! Have now decided to eBay or Toast Circle a few things to make me feel better about it!

ilovecherries · 20/07/2020 13:52

Welcome MrsCat. You are now officially on the dark side. The velvet jumpsuit is gorgeous.

Mrs Cat Welcome ! What is Toast circle? --and is it best that I really do not need to know this??!!!-

Laska2Meryls · 20/07/2020 13:56

.... Oh just looked it up, its the swap thing.. luckily I do not live anywhere near a Toast shop !

MrsCat1 · 20/07/2020 14:02

Thanks for the welcome! Yes it is the swap thing. I live near one of the stores that does it but on reflection I think I'd better just eBay a few things as my wardrobe can't cope with any more stuff and I've run out of hangers! At least half of my clothes are from Toast. I've been wearing their things for nearly 20 years. I think I should get some kind of loyalty prize!

Alsohuman · 20/07/2020 14:18

Checking in too. I’m beyond pleased at snagging the linen and merino jumper yesterday. These things are only available in an XS when I get to them usually. Thank you for tipping us off @Laska2Meryls.

Laska2Meryls · 20/07/2020 14:32

Boyfriend tee with an old favourite Hush skirt.. do you think that the arms are right ? They were more sticky out but I have ironed them

They look perfect and i love your outfit @Laska2Meryls

Well more Toast sale bargains for me. After getting some stuff this morning - chalk white mid sleeve, blue linen workwear jacket, diamond print blouse, I just bagged the cotton loop back jersey jumpsuit and the crinkle black tunic. Wont be keeping it all of course but nice to choose from.

neveradullmoment99 · 20/07/2020 14:40

A few gorgeous belts for sale on the Toast website. Was very tempted for these too!!

Saurus72 · 20/07/2020 14:47

Love that t-shirt @Laska2Meryls, I saw someone wearing it on Saturday and it looked good on her too. You can definitely tell quality when you see it

neveradullmoment99 · 20/07/2020 14:55

It is lovely. Was that sale? I think the difference is the stripes going the other way on the sleeves. The sleeves look fine btw.

Alsohuman · 20/07/2020 14:57

Yes the stripe the other way on the cuffs is a lovely detail. It looks really good.

Laska2Meryls · 20/07/2020 15:06

Yes it was never was £38 so still expensive for a tee, (which is why it has to be right ) but its lovely fabric .. I will keep..

Do you all like the shoes?

MrsCat1 · 20/07/2020 15:16

I'm loving those shoes @Laska2Meryls!

faustina · 20/07/2020 15:44

Oh I missed all these interesting sounding additions - especially the Japanese trousers - bum! Mind you, I already have an entirely new wardrobe thanks to this thread and John Lewis (I had no idea their sales were so good!)

I'm returning the stripey t-shirt in a minute - and mulling over whether to keep these

I have a 6 and an 8 in the sage colour and they're really lovely - the only thing is the waist button is weirdly placed - in the photo of the blue pair on the model, they look quite shapeless at the waist - yet the sage ones go in quite dramatically - so the 6 fits well except it's tight at the waist. There's loads of space to move the button but I'm not sure ... The 8 is almost too big, but the waist is fine - though it will be too big if it stretches at all once I've worn it for any length time. I don't know what to do!

Does anyone else have these trousers? The button thing has been mentioned in some of the reviews..

faustina · 20/07/2020 15:51

@Laska2Meryls - I missed your pic of the stripey tee - it looks lovely! I roll my sleeves up - have you tried that? (they look fine unrolled though - just a suggestion)

AuldFox · 20/07/2020 16:27

Love both the sandals and the t shirt. I reckon there’s an outfit right there @Laska2Meryls

Oh all right you might need a little something on the bottom half WinkGrin

goldpendant · 20/07/2020 19:09

Love your outfit @Laska2Meryls

Squiz81 · 20/07/2020 19:24

They haven’t got my size but a very cheap linen T-shirt has appeared on JL

Countmeout · 20/07/2020 19:36

That T-shirt is lovely @Laska2Meryls
Love the sleeve detail on the T-shirt and I like that style of sandals. Are they comfortable?
