If you are over 40 what 5 make up items can you not live without (slightly dramatic).
I need a refresh. Money no object.

Ive recently bought Erborian B.B. cream in Clair and I'm loving it as an alternative to foundation.

I'm very tempted to try the Becca under eye corrector. I'm really quite pale. Will the light to medium be okay?

Does anyone use it with B.B. cream? if so,
do you apply it before or after the B.B.?

When I wear foundation, I apply my concealer afterwards.

Another vote for IT Cosmetics CC Cream - now on my fourth tube, which is unheard of for me. I absolutely love it.

Max Factor False Lash Effect Mascara.
LRP Factor 50.
Estee Lauder lipsticks.
Burts Bees lip balm.
Milk Lip & Cheek Stick
NYX Honey Dew Me Up PRIMER (seriously good)

I'm hoping the Becca undereye corrector hasn't been discontinued as I've found it the best thing ever (with tarte shape tape on top) to cover my dark, dark circles. I bought mine on qvc ages ago and kind of forgot about it, as I'd been using boots 17 phwoar paint (which got discontinued!). The Becca is fab, doesn't crease or budge, and my under eyes look good all day even in the heat.

Another recent discovery of DD's is Revolution brow pomade in blonde, kind of my brows but better, stays all day, looks natural (I just fill in where my brows are a bit sparse) and is a properly cool shade. Good find DD Grin

So that's my first three top products. Two more would be a cool toned pink blusher or Bourgeois blusher in rose jaspe in the summer, and either a Burts Bees lip balm or raspberry pink lipstick if I'm going out. I don't have a favourite one, although Clinique Sparkle Pop is one I've repurchased.

I do set under my eyes, which is a cheeky sixth product. Currently using No7 translucent or Bourgois loose powder (smells of roses) but when I can justify the cost I'd like to try the Laura Mercier one.

I don't like a lot of make up, it doesn't suit me but I like to sort out the darkness under my eyes and add a bit of cheek and lip colour to feel 'done'. Mascara when it's not hayfever season.

Just realised my phone autocorrected Bourjois! Sorry, I don't really buy my make up by class Grin

@247SylviaPlath I’ve been trying to buy the Becca corrector in my shade since our exchange and it’s sold out everywhere! Finally had success today, had to buy a trial size with 2 mini primers but I was on a mission to succeed 😆

Think I need some practice On applying but first impressions are good, I’m very excited. Thank you for the rec!

@likeamother - I should have mentioned it’s terrible to get hold of Blush. It’s my one thing I use daily even if no other make-up though so I now have one in back up... It does take some getting used to - the trick I’ve found is to pat it in with my finger, but hope you get on well with it!
