Very hard to predict when it might pop up. But it must be near the end.
Anything you fancy from the new stuff anyone?

Morning. I’m interested to try this - I usually buy a couple of dresses each season and this looks like it might be a candidate www.toa.st/uk/product/womens+dresses+and+tunics/c1pbp/ruffle+hem+dress.htm
Also this one - more casual www.toa.st/uk/product/womens+dresses+and+tunics/c1maw/denim+shirt+dress.htm

This top looks like a beautiful colour and I like the neckline www.toa.st/uk/product/womens+tops/c6nbc/garment+dyed+crop+sleeve+top.htm

But none of above until September at the earliest, I have had issues with over-shopping in the past and really want to keep control of it now 😉

Laska2Meryls · 12/07/2020 09:34

Ive already bought the charcoal grandad shirt and This striped tee
Will leave any more for later once bank balance has recovered a bit!

Saurus72 · 12/07/2020 09:43

Love that @Laska2Meryls - I am definitely drawn to more long sleeved t-shirts but am holding on a bit because not sure how long I’ll be wfh for so may not need too many. Love the soft grey stripes.

Countmeout · 12/07/2020 09:52

Is that striped ls tee short in the body @Laska2Meryls ? I quite fancy it. But nothing until later in the summer (does anyone else feel we’ve been in ‘summer’ forever- I feel it should be September already)
I’m going to get the pull on trousers but just not yet, I’m liking that there’s so many more blues which suits me better than some of the colours.
I’m hoping a code from Toast will come at the beginning of autumn. I’m almost sure there was one last year for 15%.

I dont think so Count. It just touches my hip bones and I am long in the body and generously norked!
Here. Creased because it was rolled up in the drawer ..Excuse stuff hanging out of the washing basket Blush its a nice stripe pattern.

I never seem to get the codes sadly, but a friend passed hers on so I used it for the grandad shirt and this tee

Laska2Meryls · 12/07/2020 10:17

It is long in the sleeves a bit though as you can see, but thats ok they are usually pushed up on me anyway

slipperyeel · 12/07/2020 10:29

I really want this one, it could be my Christmas Day dress!

Countmeout · 12/07/2020 10:55

That’s great @Laska2Meryls. Thank you for showing me. I somehow though it looked short in the picture. I’ll definitely put that one on my list. I like long sleeves but generally push them up too!

Saurus72 · 12/07/2020 11:44

@Laska2Meryls that’s made me want that t-shirt. I agree that it looks short in the picture which put me off but looks fab on you. Penury beckons.

AmethystMoonShine · 12/07/2020 13:45

@slipperyeel I have a couple of dresses made from the same fabric as the dress you linked to. It’s beautiful.
I’ve got a slate one and also one in rust. The style is almost the same but rather than wrap front it’s a v neck.

AmethystMoonShine · 12/07/2020 13:48

@slipperyeel I’ve found a couple of photos and will attempt to upload them. I notice the belt is wider on the one you linked too as well.

I’ve just made the error of looking at the dress @slipperyeel linked to in tobacco..... it’s so very beautiful but I’ve spent tooooooo much in the Toast sale Blush

Moominmammaatsea · 12/07/2020 14:09

Amethyst, I have the dress in your first picture (it’s a bluish-black) which I bought in the sale two or three years ago (?). It’s a really flattering fit and a great all-weather dress.

AmethystMoonShine · 12/07/2020 14:16

It’s obviously been around few years then @Moominmammaatsea, as I nabbed it in the sale last summer. Think it was 90 pounds IIRC. I got the rust one BNWT on eBay earlier this year. I agree it’s very flattering, it ‘coped’ admirably with my expanding frame last autumn in Tuscany where I was fed daily by an enthusiastic Italian lady at the catered farmhouse we stayed in Grin

faustina · 12/07/2020 15:25

I really like that garment dyed crop sleeve top too @Saurus72 - and I think I saw it in indigo on the JL new stuff. I also want the splendid looking Beton Cire rain hat - but yes, not until they send the new season code

Saurus72 · 12/07/2020 16:40

Oh @faustina ! I went to look at the rain hat you mentioned (v good btw), and saw this www.toa.st/uk/product/womens+hats+scarves+and+gloves/f2hba-f2maf/cashmere+wool+wrap+scarf.htm . Looks perfect and worst of all, I know I would get tons of wear out of it. Good lord 🙄

faustina · 12/07/2020 17:38

lovely colour!

Laska2Meryls · 12/07/2020 18:25

Actually I do want this cardigan in the yellow

Alsohuman · 12/07/2020 19:23

Toast knitwear doesn’t float my boat. I think it’s pretty boring. I’ve had some great jumpers and cardigans from Kin who I think beat Toast hands down on the knitwear front.

Moominmammaatsea · 12/07/2020 20:13

@Countmeout, you asked a few posts ago if anyone fancied any of the stuff from the new collection and I had a peek at the stuff on JL and realised that I could happily swap my entire wardrobe for the small AW20 capsule collection currently for sale. The indigo shades and the utilitarian styles and shapes are everything I love about Toast.

balkanscot · 12/07/2020 20:35

Hi Toasties,

I have bought a few bits & bobs from Toast over the years but am dithering re: denim dungarees. I am usually size 10, although size 8 in Toast, and am unsure whether to order size 8 or even 6??? Reviews seem to be mixed re: sizing, they do appear to run large... Also I have never worn dungarees and am already thinking I may he making a terrible mistake. £150 is a lot of money for dungarees (and they never seem to be on sale 🙄) and ideally I want to avoid sending them back.

Thanks! 🙂

balkanscot · 12/07/2020 20:42

Denim dungarees

slipperyeel · 12/07/2020 20:57

If you live near a Waitrose buying and returning John Lewis stuff is really easy
