Laska, lovely shirt and I agree with previous posters that I prefer it without the belt (although that is a rather splendid belt). I also like the length of the trousers on you - do you need to shorten them?

Yup , looks like I am keeping it Faustina ... Everyone I have shown it to likes it (not DH as he is not here , and is terminally incapable of viewing photos on his phone , it seems .. ). But no one at all likes it with the belt! (so obviously a mistake!! ) .

@Countmeout did you order the chalk coloured one? I remember someone on here did. I can never find good cardis so if I like this one it’ll be well worth the investment as I’ll wear it loads. @Laska2Meryls I am the same - really need to stop spending but the sales are so good.

I picked up the dark red linen tee today (keeping)
and then this which is also lovely but I'm not sure when I'm ever going to wear a jumper with half sleeves

@ilovecherries love that Zoya top. Mine arrived yesterday and it’s a keeper. Sent the Zoya dresses back in S and M.... I loved the dress by concluded that a) is not get much wear from it and b) I’ve spent far too much!

Faustina The ochre short sleeve jumper a bit more expensive than JL bone one which I have already and love , but wanted to try it anyway ..
I sent back that green linen jumper as also couldn't imagine wearing a half sleeve. with short sleeve, I can at least wear a tee or shirt under later on
Alix trousers ( These will be far too big , I am told and I had ordered bigger size than my usual anyway, as all JL had, so will go back ).
and Jude trousers in olive which have not been reduced on Toast (still £165) but for some reason are £49.50 on JL! ..They may also be too big , but took a punt and hoping

I’d been very very Spartan this year but then I bought nine things during the sales..! Huge bargains from Toast and JL, plus some Boden knee boots. But I must cut myself off now - otherwise it will be a slippery slope away from ‘buy less but buy better’ to ‘buy more but buy better’ 😖

What time did the sale stuff on JL appear ? I slept all night !

Has anyone else noticed that Toast have started wrapping & folding items in tissue paper?
I was getting a bit fed up with items arriving creased badly, but my last two parcels have been beautifully wrapped.
As for JL, does anyone else cringe at the vast amounts of plastic used to encase items for delivery? It helps with creasing but honestly, these days I expect a bit of a thought regarding the environment

JL does use a lot of plastic, but at least they also cone on hangers ( useful for the laundry) and are usually increased.. Useful bags for ebaying also ! ( Which I have done pretty successfully over last few weeks.. I needed to as complete change of lifestyle now I am no longer working ..Also there is the not insignificant matter of the summer sales to consider..

Toast should do masks in with remnants , then we could coordinate ..
When I was toying with making my own ( I didn't because I am rubbish with a sewing machine. I did consider buying the cheap zoya bag just for the fabric. ( Yeah..I know..🙄😂)

I have never posted before but just want to say this thread gave me to oomph to bite the bullet for Toast international postage!! Loving the commentary and picks. So pleased with my items May be the start of a dangerous $30 postage addiction....
